@Beth_And_Taxes@TheKeadar Almsot every one of my friends and my clan are looking at osrs or quitting, and every social event we have been having in game, much of the sentiment is the same.
@jmcarnes12@LTre_OSRS@scapefuel Because these are selfish people who think this game is somehow a competition. If everyone isnt starting from square 1 at the exact same time as them, they are not happy. They will hop on this train, farm it for content, then move on to the next IP to destroy.
@SirBeardTMB@XarovRs Ok, I think I misinterpreted your original statement, the tone of it sounded like you thought you could transition between both. That is my bad.
@Beth_And_Taxes@TheKeadar I just feel actually improving the game like they did this last year would be better. But people keep forgetting how many veterans will quit over this, the means you need even more new players.
@Beth_And_Taxes@TheKeadar MAYBE will get new players, there are not preorders, no hard data that shows it will happen, just randoms who "say" they will.
@GentlemanYurii@ManksRs My trust in Jagex being vague is at an all time low. They already promised they wouldnt do any fresh resets, and if they did, they would talk to us. Instead they shit on our plate at Runefest.
@GentlemanYurii@ManksRs Don't care, if they are not willing to communicate honestly, its not real. It is all speculation. I will not change my mind, if its that fucked, they need to say it. Not platitudes that say everything is okishly fine for now.
@GentlemanYurii@ManksRs They also admitted that the current community alone can sustain the game for several years, why haven't they let Road to Restoration finish and breathe.
Reignited is literally an emergency button. So Jagex is not telling the truth either way.
@Poenitor@CrossFireXTV That's fine, at least you are not advocating a splitting for the RS3 community when you have no intent to play at least long term anyway.
@ponyboy10113 The split economy will cause one to lose out, as there is no gameplay different between the two, people will gravitate to the larger community, new players wotn cycle in and will stall the entire economy of that side.
@SirBeardTMB@XarovRs The hop back and forth was not in there. Its conversations if/when the modes will merge. Which is a good thing long term.
Reignited gets their new player experience, and veterans gain a larger overall community.

As for irons, it is a specific niche that is proven to work long term. But creating a whole parallel ecosystem is a different beast altogether.
Ok, I think I am done for now.
@AhayzoXB@TheKeadar -9-
This will also eventually cause one side of the player base to quit, making more of that side of the player base to quit, until it dwindles.
Not only will we be right where we are now, it will come with the stink of a betrayed half of a community, that nobody will gamble on.
@AhayzoXB@TheKeadar -8-
With the split it will devolve into which side has more players, players to engage in an economy, engange in PVM, engage in minigames.
The reigniters are not thinking about the actual future.
