@mccchr Help!! I went to a PD you facilitated for BCPSS called Level Up Google Forms.
At the end, you recommended a Sheets add-on that I couldn’t access bc of the district. And now I don’t know what it is!!!
Message me if you can help 🙏🏽🤦🏽♀️
Took advantage of the (short-lived) beautiful weather today with the picnic basket I stole from @PpalPinkney during our staff White Elephant before the holidays! So grateful for an admin team that makes work fun☀️
Want to RETAIN teachers? Do THESE!
•Make smaller class sizes happen
•Listen and Advocate to teacher concerns
•Improve the response to student behavioral issues
•Increase planning time
•Improve salaries
•Let teachers TEACH!
I LOVED the @BaltCitySchools PD sessions I attended today.
I started the day with an improv class (yes, like the form of comedy) and ended with a grade-norming session that offered a new perspective.
Can’t wait to bring back this info to my students & colleagues at @WWPCEM 🥳
Need a fun way to introduce argument? Check out this free resource: https://t.co/ZerpTAiE7W The presentation is a collection of ideas from the thread @heymrsbond created a year ago. Be ready for lots of laughs and heated arguments!
Day 2 entailed some community-building fun! As you can see, our 8th graders at @WWPCEM are Leaders, Innovators, and Collaborators!
I love the sound of learning! #volumeup
Year 1 officially starts in less than 24 hours (which feels so unreal)!!!
Both my students and I are going to learn and grow with flying colors at @WWPCEM this school year 🌈
It’s my first year of teaching, and I’m eager to get in the classroom (hopefully with some new supplies!!).
Consider donating to my project. You’ll support around 85 7/8th graders in #Baltimore City (and their teacher 😉).

We’ve been in school for a couple weeks now, and I feel like our students haven’t really appreciated the bulletin board in our 7/8 Social Studies classroom ://
but hopefully Twitter will!!
Just because a student is doing well in class does not necessarily mean that they are doing well.
And just because a teacher is smiling and appears stable does not mean that they are happy and not close to breaking down.
This seems like the most feasible and responsible option given the current situation. We have to be vaccinated for other illnesses, why not add another to the list and keep our students and their families safe? And reinstate mask mandates while we’re at it 💉😷

As educators, parents, & loved ones, we are in a unique situation wherein we get to teach students how to develop their communication skills. Doing so doesn’t have to be a difficult task. Check out my most recent blog post to learn more: https://t.co/PTBh2LI1pY @tberry_teaches
