@MrBeast Free polls like this are not very informative.
How about having everybody put up $100 to vote? If you "survive" you keep your money and if you don't, it gets donated to charity.
Perhaps that would cause people to think more carefully and answer more honestly.
It's weird how the set of politicians and pundits that support/oppose the filibuster keeps switching.
It's like something affects their deeply held principles every few years.
@matt_vanswol @DHSgov Who could possibly be against this?
Everyone who is smart enough to realize that this kind of power will attract the worst people (those who want it), and will be abused.
People who understand how un-american it is.
@mdavidbrown@onefiftyfivemm@janecoaston Why isn't he sending it to the US Treasury? Could he actually think that the world is better off with people spending their own money on projects they choose?
@VivekGRamaswamy Great idea. Better to waste time with that than with what's likely to replace them in that time. And there's no better way to make words seem meaningless than to have people mindlessly repeat them thousands of times.
Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft & others have played central roles in the censorship cartel.
The Orwellian named NewsGuard along with “fact checking” groups & ad agencies helped enforce one-sided narratives.
The censorship cartel must be dismantled.
@levstar1999@DavidDeutschOxf What's needed is the freedom to innovate and introduce new designs without permission. This will inevitably lead to apparent duplication while the market determines a winner, but it will also lead to the most progress.
Freedom can be messy but it's better than the alternatives.
@lindayaX Don't threats like this violate X policy? Perhaps his account should be suspended. He shouldn't object to censoring messages like his that are definitely inciting hatred.
