Totally surreal to wake up and see your 9-year passion project on the front of the @WSJ.

Thanks @bzcohen, for really capturing the essence of @AcquiredFM.

@mvanhorn Same.

@Joshua_Gutman 🤣

A friend in Chicago just texted me this.

30 years later, and TV stations are still advertising Seinfeld re-runs to get you to tune in.

72 million Americans have watched 'Seinfeld' so far this year. In 2026! Nearly three decades after it went of the air. Why?

"Each monologue had its own recording of the Seinfeld theme to match Jerry's standup timing." https://t.co/9Z0rpBdgTE

@benthompson Congratulations!

@mvanhorn @dabootysmackmom Unbelievable you didn't win. No higher endorsement.

@dadiomov Such a great doc.

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

@jdflynn That's not true. It was his call to end the show. They were doing very well financially in the last season and would have continued into season 10.

In fact, they'd be much more motivated to keep going than he was.

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

Still one of the best moments in a business interview ever.

@Quartr_App Forget DVD's by mail, bring on the VHS's.

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

@hiiamArielle @colossusmag @AcquiredFM Shockingly, a total coincidence! (At least for the Acquired episode). We found out there was a LD book dropping last week after it was already recorded.

That said, excited to read it!

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

@ellenjdasilva @AcquiredFM You were probably just keenly aware that it was actually filmed in LA. I'm sure you would have been all over it if you lived in Studio City.

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

@ankitkr0 @AcquiredFM Apparently there's no length limits!

[Acquired Podcast @AcquiredFM]

Oh, and there's one more thing for this episode.

Hello, @netflix :)

[Ben Gilbert @gilbert]

@packyM @djrosent Thanks buddy. Ridiculously fun to do this episode.
