There will come a time, at current rates, when nearly all Jews will have left the UK, and people like this will reflect and say, 'why did they leave?' Remaining, either acting as, or genuinely, staggeringly unaware of their own contributions.
What a shanda
Really grim polling:
40% say the UK would be neither better nor worse off if Jews left the country because of antisemitism
32% say the UK would be much worse off
4% say the UK would be better off
Jewish people are an essential part of our society. We must unite around that.
This is coming out of an obvious hostile environment in Britain, against Jews. An environment that makes Jews fair targets, and antisemitism not just acceptable but exciting.
It is a national emergency. Britain and its Jews deserve better.

Damn right we are angry! I grew up in this community. I went to school in Golders Green, I spent my teenage years on this high street.
We were told again and again that we are British. That Britishness had space for Jews. Well then, why does Britain have no tools, no tactics/
and no answers when Jews are being battered? The Jewish community is under siege and there is nothing the government and leaders seem capable of doing.
Enough with ridiculous platitudes. Enough hand wringing. Enough indifference as the situation spirals. /
This is a National Emergency.
We need to dispense with the political platitudes. Prime Minister, what is your plan?
Six months ago we stood outside Downing Street after the fatal terrorist attack Heaton Park Synagogue.
Things have only got worse. More Jews attacked. Synagogues burned. More lives at risk.
What action is the Government taking?
Join us outside Downing Street tomorrow (Thursday) at 19:00, to ask the Prime Minister a simple question: What’s the plan?
We must take this to the Prime Minister’s door. He’s had plenty of time. What is he actually going to do?
Footage shows the moment a fragment from an Iranian ballistic missile struck Jerusalem's Old City.
According to the IDF, the missile was intercepted, and fragments fell down, causing damage at a parking lot in the Jewish Quarter, around 400 meters from the Western Wall and Al-Aqsa Mosque/Temple Mount.
What a disgusting act of vandalism.
An audio bench, bearing the testimony of Holocaust survivor Chaim Ferster, has been smashed and dumped in a lake at Salford’s Clowes Park.
Several members of Chaim’s family were murdered in the Holocaust and he survived numerous concentration camps. The bench allowed people to hear Chaim’s experiences, keeping his story alive. The bench was placed in Clowes Park as he would walk there daily with his dog. He died in 2017 at the age of 94.
Appallingly, it appears as though the bench’s audio box was ripped out. The memories of Holocaust survivors must be preserved. Instead, they are being destroyed.
We understand that a resident has reported this to their local councillor, believing it to be an act of antisemitism. The councillor has since reported this to the police as a hate crime.
If you have information about this incident, please inform Greater Manchester Police or contact us in confidence at [email protected]
Tomorrow, CAA and @ChabadUK are coming together to light up London in honour of our brethren killed at Chabad in Australia and in the spirit of the festival of Chanukah.
At 18:30, in front of Parliament, we will bring light to the darkness. We will mourn the dead and celebrate the endurance of Jewish life in the face of those who mean us harm, in the best tradition of Chanukah.
Chanukah recalls the Jewish fight against antisemitic oppression in another era, and calls on us to redouble our efforts in that same fight today.
We will not be cowed by terrorists, nor will we allow the names of the fallen to be forgotten. We hope that you will join us.
I'd missed this, but it is completely shocking that a lecturer in an English university could possibly be teaching students the blood libel. And not just because it is - duh - a libel, but because it is, to our country's shame, an English invention. https://t.co/U31UyULzap
The appalling scenes of mobs of thugs hunting down Israelis in Amsterdam after a football game show a modern-day pogrom in action.
The driver of a car hitting a man with his vehicle before speeding off.
An unconscious body kicked in the street.
People running for their lives.
A man begging for mercy as attackers yell “Free Palestine”.
This is what “globalising the intifada” looks like.
These images mirror early 20th century pogroms in Europe and elsewhere, where Jews were sought out by mobs and either ran or faced being beaten in the streets, or worse.
We are witnessing levels of antisemitism not seen in our lifetime, and it is of the utmost importance that Britain acts against the antisemitic thugs here at home who have become increasingly emboldened.
Anti-Israel demonstrators have taken over our streets week after week, calling for “intifada”.
How much longer will be it before scenes like these are replicated here?
To all those who chant for “intifada” week in and week out, what just happened in Amsterdam is what you’re asking for.
Last night, the singer, Ishay Ribo did something historic for the second time.
Last night, Ishay Ribo sold out Madison Square Garden!
I wasn’t there, but I know exactly what it was like.
A few years ago, before I was a massive Ribo fan, Racheli and I went to a concert of his in Caesarea.
I knew how popular he was but I had not personally listened to his music so I really didn’t know what to expect.
What we experienced that night was nothing short of spectacular.
Here we have a religious man, a super humble religious man, with a stunning and soothing voice, singing to an audience of tens of thousands while everyone sings along.
“Big deal”, you might be saying. “The audience singing along at a concert. That happens often.”
Yea, that’s true, but there was only one difference.
This massive crowd, comprised of Jews of all types, ultra orthodox, orthodox, conservative, reform, and secular, everyone was singing along to the Torah verses and the prayers that Ribo sang.
One song stuck out. It’s called “Seder Haavoda” and it’s a song about the high priest and his very technical job that he performs on Yom Kippur in the temple.
It’s a very beautiful song but it’s also super technical and the words are not familiar unless you know them from our prayers.
Tens of thousands of Jews singing that song. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen.
I left that night thinking one thing. This man, Ishay Ribo, has the power to unite our nation. Really. That’s what I thought then, and that’s what I think now.
After that night, I knew I had to meet him. I pulled a few strings and had the opportunity to spend some time with him. I went to his house, if you can call it that. The man lives humbly. To say the least.
Since that first meeting, I’ve gotten to hang with him several times. It’s not an act. The man is pure humility.
I kinda wish I got to experience the entire Madison Square Garden singing his songs, but I didn’t have to be there to know what it was like.
It was magical. It was unifying. It was spectacular.
I need this man’s voice. We need this man’s voice.
In my opinion, Ishay Ribo is a once in a generation talent!
If you were there, share some pictures or videos in the comments so I can at least pretend I was there!
Rachel Goldberg-Polin: "Ok sweet boy, go now on your journey. I hope it's as good as the trips you dreamed about because finally, my sweet boy, finally, finally, finally, finally you are free.
I will love you and I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life, but you're right here. I know you're right here. I just have to teach myself how to feel you in a different way.
And Hersh there is one last thing I need you to do for us. Now I need you to help us stay strong and I need you to help us survive"
Today, the IDF and ISA rescued the hostage Qaid Farhan Alkadi, aged 52, from Rahat, who was abducted by the Hamas terrorist organization into Gaza on October 7.
He is in a stable medical condition and is being transferred for medical checks at a hospital. His family has been updated with the details, and the IDF is accompanying them.
Israeli security forces will continue to operate with all means to bring home the hostages.
Wow unconfirmed reports breaking now that Israeli hostage Kaid Farhan al-Qadi, from the Bedouin community, managed to escape his captors in Gaza through a tunnel and return to Israel.
If confirmed, a MASSIVE event!
The 1972 Olympics are best remembered for a horrific terror attack in which eleven Israelis were murdered by antisemitic Islamist terrorists and humanity's greatest sporting event was wrecked.
And yet, @adidas have launched nostalgic trainers for that occasion.
Using Bella Hadid, who is widely known in the Jewish world for her hostile comments toward the Jewish state, to model trainers is extraordinarily bad judgment and, frankly, insulting.
From a company that is only just recovering from the Kanye West antisemitism scandal, this is a shocking error in judgment.
