Through the Eskom Development Foundation (ESDEF), Eskom has installed a renewable energy microgrid at Mafikeng Provincial Hospital, helping ensure reliable power for critical services including the ICU, operating theatres and Emergency Department. ⚡ 💡

Serving approximately one million people, this project strengthens healthcare resilience while advancing South Africa's clean energy future.
