Bro,the BILLIONAIRE you are;HIDING behind 'debts';forcing many months' UNPAID labour slaving to defend your STANDARD headlines 'BOLD' extortion GANGSTERISM driven by GREED;is HEARTLESS to loyal workers, INSULT to journalism and BETRAYAL to free media that STANDARD once belonged.
Its only Raila Odinga Rao aka BABA not BABU can lead maandamano, when Baba say ready for TUESDAY he meant it not Babu wa sababu wa babu buu boobo #MaandamanoFlop
I have received with profound shock and deep sadness the news this evening of the passing of Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament, Mheshimiwa Johana Ng’eno.
My friend, Mheshimiwa Ng’eno, was a progressive and devoted servant of the people who worked tirelessly on behalf of the residents of Emurua Dikirr, Narok County.
He was focused, vocal, and fearless; a leader who stood firmly for justice and equity for all.
He will be remembered for the tangible progress achieved under his leadership and his exemplary commitment to promoting local talent, especially in music.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, the people of Emurua Dikirr, and all the victims and families affected by the helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County.
Raila ran for President in 2022. Uhuru was the President of Kenya.
Raila ran for AU Chair. Ruto was the Resident of Kenya.
Uhuru never went out to Mt. Kenya even one day to campaign for Raila.
Ruto went all over Africa desperately campaigning for Raila
Know your friends
Thank you President @WilliamsRuto for your effort. You did your best and we appreciate it. Now we must think of the future of Africa. Why not divide the African union into two ? Why not ?
Africa lost in the AUC elections.
The African Heads of States confirmed they care more about regional blocks and who colonized which State than they do about vision, knowledge, experience and capacity in the Chairperson of AUC to move Africa forth.
Northern Africa has produced all the Chairpersons of AUC except one. This is not because the North produces better candidates, but because to States from North Africa, regional interest in religion, culture, language is primary, the interests of Africa as a continent is secondary. It’s high time the regions persistently excluded from leadership of AUC sat and determined their participation in AUC Affairs.
@RailaOdinga mounted splendid campaigns focused on issues and what needs to be done to catapult Africa to greater unity, peace and prosperity. In the current design of AU politics, this was not enough.
We thank @WilliamsRuto for his personal support and the support of the Government of Kenya for @RailaOdinga. It is always right to support Kenyans competing on the international platform. As I said before, the President has carved for himself a beautiful space in the hearts of us who support @RailaOdinga.
And then there is this group of Kenyans, largely from one community, who have been opposed to Raila’s bid. Well, it was unpatriotic to do so. You washed the dirt of negative ethnicity on Kenya’s 63 year-old linen on mainstream and social media platforms for the whole world to see! Let’s always be happy for fellow Kenyans offering themselves for service beyond our borders.
Every cloud has silver lining. While Kenya’s and East Africa’s bid to chair AUC has been stopped by the said regional, cultural and language hegemony and interests, the lines have never been more clearly drawn for our local political engagements in Kenya. No doubt, we who support Raila will have our revenge against those ethnic diatribes he faced in the midst of the bid from fellow Kenyans. We can no longer prevaricate on our relationship with President Ruto. Lack of communication and clear message to our supporters engenders confusion, weakens us and is harmful to our course. We must move forth with courage, formalize our relationship with President Ruto, consolidate our bases and rally our troops to match together towards 2027.
We must take charge of our political destiny or be part of the menu of our determined enemies preaching our exclusion from Kenya’s body politic.
BETRAYAL KILLS, SWORD INJURES:
"The death of Caesar sparked a civil war. Shakespeare's play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar depicts Caesar's last words as "Et tu, Brute?," which translates to "You too, Brutus?"
No Wiper MP in Addis!
Then that celebration from Nyeri comes to drive a nail into my wound!
As @TheODMparty, we've crossed the rubicon!
We will die standing for equity and inclusion in Kenya rather be anyone's slave forever.
We will stand and fight for Kenya with President @WilliamsRuto. We will not allow these bigoted tribalists to succeed against Kenya's nationhood project.
I was among some 8 young Kenyans who carried injured Kibaki on our shoulders while crawling on our knees from the "Economy" section to the "Business Class" section on his way to Wellington Hospital, London.
I joined in Kibaki's campaign and fought with other Kenyans until he won!
It is unfortunate he restored tribalism in Kenya, betrayed NARC and kicked us out of government in 2005. We beat him in 2007, but still let him rule in our stead to save Kenya from collapse.
I forgive these people from Nyeri. Forgive them Baba, for they do not know what they are doing.
May this cement and strengthen our relationship with President Ruto to fight harder for Kenya against ethnic exclusion and hegemony.
