My wet dream:
- BTC goes to $250k by November 2025, when actual retail hype comes back and we get distant cousins and high school exes in our inbox again
- around the turn of the year, it becomes evident (shit)Coinbase is insolvent, triggering a shitshow that dwarves MtGox&FTX
- in the course of a few months, 10% of ETFs and 90% of treasury companies go bankrupt, with the US government stepping in to bail out the too-big-to-fail
- BTC collapses to $70k, shitcoins enter an unprecedented bloodbath, the general economy is bad, geopolitical tensions are ATH
- for all these reasons, not only Fed rates go to zero, but USD hyperinflation really begins for the first time in history
- this makes the BTC/USD rate keep growing *even* during BTC winter (while the actual purchasing power remains low for 3 more years)
- we get to test @saifedean's theory about USDt actually decoupling from USD
