Spring is a fantastic time for a waterfall hike, as the falls are running strong after spring rains. A favorite waterfall is Cascades Falls in @GilesCoVa. An easy four-mile out-and-back hike lets visitors revel in this 66-foot-tall waterfall. @VisitVirginia

Eggleston River Road in @GilesCoVa remains closed due to a washout from #HurricaneHelene but #VDOT crews have been out clearing and grading to work on the surface and the area to make this scenic road safe again for travel. Way to go crew!
