Honor a Weyand.
Retired 4-Star Navy Admiral and former Navy SEAL William McRaven on Donald Trump: "Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation."

All true, more or less. But €2 trillion or so in transatlantic investments and long-term trade is a bit more difficult to extricate ourselves from than a simple boy-girl relationship.
Europe has a toxic relationship with America. But she's too scared to leave him.

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake.
The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure.
The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America.
I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.
What’s going on here with this great swing by Micheál Martin is these Trump press conferences have passed a domestic toxicity point where it’s now more in the European leader’s interest to be seen to challenge Trump than it to be seen to have been an uninterrupted success.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said the EU would welcome Britain “with open arms” if it returned to the single market.
It would be wonderful to rebuild the economic integration we once had.
It would be good for Europe, good for the UK, and good for all of us.

As I've long argued, the debate in the EU over the UK & Brexit has moved on from 2016. There's greater political space today if the Govt wants to play
He took the greatest military force in world history, lost a war to a middle power in a week, begged the world to save him, and demanded that the media lie about this and everything else. I try, but at a simple human level I do not see how anyone can mistake this man’s almost supernatural weakness for strength. His weakness is something negative, gravitational, so deep that it can draw in a whole country. But only if we fail to see it. Only if we let it.
Thomas Massie just revealed his nuclear option.
If Pam Bondi’s DOJ refuses to unredact the Epstein client names - Massie will walk onto the House floor and read them publicly himself.

Much of this will be true. The bit that won't is America's re-alignment with its allies and friends. Trump has destroyed trust in the US, and that will be very, very hard to restore.
When Trump leaves office:
The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department.
The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center.
The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico.
The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom.
Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired.
The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president.
Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference.
The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies.
The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists.
Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it.
The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters.
U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators.
And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.
Thomas Massie says if AG Bondi refuses to unredact the names in the Epstein files, he will walk onto the House floor and read them himself.
Congressional immunity protects him from any legal consequence.

BREAKING: WOW! A reporter bravely calls Trump out to his face after he falsely accused Iran of bombing the Iranian school that he destroyed: "Why are you the only person saying this?"
This is EXACTLY what we need from White House journalists!
"Footage shows that a Tomahawk missile likely destroyed that Iranian girls' school. So will the US accept any responsibility?" the first reporter asked.
"Well, I haven't seen it and I will say that the Tomahawk, which is one of the most powerful weapons around, is used by, you know is sold and used by other countries, you know that. And whether it's Iran, who also has some Tomahawks, they wish they had more, but uh... Whether it's Iran or somebody else. The fact that a Tomahawk— A Tomahawk is very generic. It's sold to other countries. But, uh, that's being investigated right now," Trump said.
In reality, the export of Tomahawk missiles is tightly controlled by the United States. Only America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Netherlands currently use the weapon. The suggestion that Iran has access to them is patently absurd.
The blatant falsehood from the president set up a knockout punch from another reporter—
"Mr. President, you just suggested that Iran somehow got its hands on a Tomahawk and bombed its own elementary school on the first day of the war, but you're the only person in your government saying this," said the reporter. "Even your Defense Secretary wouldn't say that when he was asked, standing over your shoulder on your plane on Saturday. Why are you the only person saying this?"
"Because I just don't know enough about it," said Trump. "I think it's something that I was told is under investigation, but Tomahawks are used by others, as you know... Numerous other nations have Tomahawks. They buy them from us, but I will certainly, whatever the report shows, I'm willing to live with that report."
Trump is lying because he doesn't want to own up to the fact that he murdered at least 165 people when a U.S. missile struck a school in Minab, Iran as part of a war of choice that he launched on behalf of Israel. The administration scrambled to claim that the horrific incident was caused by an Iranian rocket or missile misfiring, but new footage has emerged proving that it was an American Tomahawk.
It's now irrefutable that the United States killed those schoolchildren. This is the kind of evil that never washes out and no matter how much Trump lies about it, this will be a defining pillar of a legacy. He's the president who killed children in a pointless and illegal war and then refused to even admit to it.
Please ❤️ and share to demand that the United States take accountability!
🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Epstein survivors just announced they will release their own list of names.
