COVID has truly been, and continues to be, a multidisciplinary response. From the mop to the ventilator, so many key players that could all to easily go unrecognised.
I have to believe this scheme was well intentioned but badly designed (& didn’t touch the sides of a decent impact assessment). If not, I struggle to see how we can continue to support this government. Do the right thing PM so I can continue to feel proud of being part of the NHS
Delighted that, with lots of help from the IT team @GWH_NHS and @swneonatal @RobynAnnable , today we're going live with @vCreateNeonatal to allow parents to receive video messages of their babies whenever they are not on the unit.
This video is dedicated to our hardworking staff. Have a think about how you are doing today – Are you feeling ok? We know that you'll have your own preferred ways of coping with stress, but if you ever need that extra bit of support, be assured that we are here for you.
Normally Charlotte would spend her days dealing with planning applications. At the minute, her days look a little different as she spends most of the time calling shielding residents to support them with the delivery of food or medical supplies.
Thank you Charlotte!
Over 160 people have now been discharged from hospital after receiving treatment for #COVID19.
One of these patients is Katherine Applegate, who has shared her experience with us, and her thanks to the staff that saved her life.
