this is simply my personal interpretation based on what they've chosen to share publicly.

if they were truly still on bad terms with each other, i don't think jessica would be willing to embrace her journey the way she does now or continue acknowledging girls' generation as part of her solo career story.

to me, that's a sign that she's made peace with that chapter of her life. embracing the past doesn't necessarily mean everything has been resolved perfectly, but it does suggest she's no longer trying to erase it.

after all, no one is obligated to revisit a chapter that still brings nothing but resentment. yet over the years, she's chosen to acknowledge it with gratitude rather than distance herself from it.

for me, even her concerts reflect that mindset. she's continued performing songs like "mr. mr." – the last korean title track she promoted with girls' generation. her final performance of the song with girls' generation was during smtown live world tour iv in seoul on 15 august 2014. the fact that she still chooses to perform it today doesn't feel like someone trying to erase that chapter, but rather someone who's comfortable recognizing it as an important part of her journey.

looking at it from the other side, i also don't think silence should automatically be interpreted as hostility. there are many reasons people may choose not to speak publicly about the past, and none of us really knows where everyone stands today.

maybe they're not as close as they once were. maybe they've simply found a way to move forward in their own lives. either way, i find it difficult to believe that everything is still defined by resentment after all these years.

growth doesn't always mean going back to the way things were. sometimes, it simply means making peace with what happened, appreciating the role it played in your life, and allowing it to remain part of your story without letting it define your future.
