The situation in Ukraine is WILD.

According to unnamed US official via Axios, Trump blindsided Zelensky with this deal with Putin, after Zelensky ignored half a dozen requests to stop hitting Russian oil refineries.

Zelensky has been sabotaging global oil markets, which is damaging Trump’s optics in the midterms, Trump told Zelensky to stop, Zelensky ignored Trump, so Trump went over the top of Zelensky and made a deal with Putin for diesel, thus deterring Zelensky from attacking the refineries and hurting global oil prices.

Zelensky is pissed Trump made a deal with Putin, and apparently Zelensky is “eroding the good will he has built up with Trump over the last six months”.

Zelensky has gone rogue, and is using his military to damage Trump’s optics heading into the midterms, as part of the Deep State’s broader plot to remove Trump.

I’m not sure what this means for Zelensky and Ukraine, but they have pissed off Trump. Not a great position to be in.

This isn’t a massive amount of oil. It’s 15 hours worth of monthly diesel supply. But this accomplishes three very ugly things:

1) Trump can threaten Ukraine if they bomb any more of Putin’s oil refineries.

2) This can be used as a pretext for why Trump insiders can do dirty business deals with Russia.

3) This can open the door for more sanctions relief for Putin.

The British Army’s Land Command canceled the Cyclone exercise, during which a number of servicemen were supposed to qualify as tank commanders.
British troops now risk losing the ability to use a third of their operational tank fleet.

The British Army has around 150 operational Challenger 2 tanks, but it is believed that up to 50 of them do not have fully qualified commanders.

"This means that only around 100 tanks may be in service, meaning that a third [of them] are not operational.
Morale in the 3rd Division is at rock bottom, because what is the point of serving in an armored division if you cannot train?" — the publication wrote.
