The knife refers to how John K. called the artists that left Spumco "backstabbers" and Games itself "Stabco". Stabco would eventually be referenced in Ren's Brain.

I'm seeing a lot of people on the site make the moronic claim that "it would only appeal to boomers" or that "BK only did about as well as Croc!". There are so many things wrong with those claims, the biggest of which is that these people have no idea how legacy works.

It genuinely boggles my fucking mind that studios don't think people want a new Banjo Kazooie game. They literally had the perfect opportunity to revive the series thanks to the Crash and Spyro remakes, Smash Brothers and the original games being added to NSO.

Been playing Battletoads. And yeah holy shit this game goes from " this is really hard but really fun" to " fuck good game design. We're just going to make the worst levels imaginable and write it off as difficulty". Probably the most poorly aged game ever made
