@JRfromStrickley This has been an issue close to the hearts of my veterinary and farming family members since the 1940s, and is ongoing. The emotional and financial cost deserves more recognition, and the problem should be tackled using methods based on sound evidence.

[Gill Jinman @GillJinman]

@BenGoldsmith @herdyshepherd1 I can't believe what I'm reading; this is certainly not my experience of the very many farmers I know who are trying to feed us and look after our environment.

I love this story because it reminds me that one person can make a difference.

In 1979, Jadav Payeng began planting a tree every day for 37 years — results are stunning

I did have bees on my ceanothus and other plants earlier in the year, but hardly any now on my buddleia, lavender or sage flowers. Butterflies are few and far between too. It bodes very badly for our future.

@BillOReilly Catastrophic for women's rights, and a total failure to take account of individual circumstances and needs. How many deaths from back street abortions will result from this ruling?

.⁦@BBCTheOneShow⁩ why did you use images of a feedlot when asking viewers to vote in your #onechangeforourplanet poll tonight? Not representative of the beef we consume or produce in the UK. It’s misleading. Stop it.

Disappointed I can't attend #HiddenHerefordshire fungi course, as I would love to be able to identify the fungi I've seen near Ewyas Harold in the last year; just a few of them pictured here. #HerefordshireWildlifeTrust

Littering | Please dispose of PPE gloves & masks responsibly. These discarded masks are polluting the environment, look very unsightly & can be very dangerous to wildlife & domestic pets, Help keep Herefordshire tidy & help limit the spread of coronavirus. 😷🚯

@rob_cowgill @AddingtonFund I believe it is lady's smock, otherwise known as milkmaid or cuckooflower.

This little siskin was found by one of our members when it was left stunned after flying into a window. Luckily, it soon perked up and flew off into the sunset. (The moral we take from this is windows should be cleaned far less.😉) 📸Phil Martin #siskin #HappyEnding
