Amnesty International’s Agnes Callamard has called on Israel to release Dr Hussam Abu Safia, the director of Gaza’s Kamal Adwan hospital, following reports that he was moved to solitary confinement in Israel’s Nafha prison.

And still our British judicial system wants to lock up the #Filton24. This 3 yr old was shot in the neck by a quadcopter when she was in her home. Targeted.
This is part of a video we have obtained as our teams continue to document dozens of cases of children who were targeted and sniped in #Gaza. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a pediatrician who saved countless lives, is now in solitary confinement, tortured for months. The same doctor who held a bullet from a child’s neck now waits for the world to save him.
#FreeDrHussamAbuSafiya
This is extremely shameful when the whole world is silent and toothless on this.
🇦🇺 filmmaker Juliet said: I was raped by an Israeli soldier inside a darkened shipping container while handcuffed and shackled on a Gaza aid flotilla.
They also used water torture and beatings.
The Filton 25 are a group of direct actionists who targeted Elbit Systems, Israel's largest weapons manufacturer, to stop the genocide in Gaza.
They were all acquitted of the most serious charge of aggravated burglary and were released from prison.
However, following the retrial of the first 6, four of them were remanded back into prison and are now facing sentencing on 12th of June with a possible terrorism connection.
This is the first time in UK history that pro-Palestine activists will be sentenced for terrorism.
📅 12th June
📍 Woolwich Crown Court
⏰ 10am–5pm
Join the mobilisation and show that direct action is not terrorism.
Write to court and demand that Judge Jeremy Johnson be removed from the case.

Pro-Palestine prisoner Umer Khalid, a 22-year-old with muscular dystrophy, has been dragging himself across his prison cell floor because he has been denied a wheelchair.
He hasn't had access to a shower for over 20 weeks.
He has been waiting for a neurology appointment for over 12 weeks while experiencing chest pain and breathlessness.
This is happening in a British prison right now.
I've written to David Lammy to demand answers:
BREAKING: ISRAELI forces RAIDED the women’s dormitory at Birzeit University near Ramallah and ABDUCTED FOUR Palestinian FEMALE STUDENTS.
The students were identified as:
• Jolan Abu Awwad
• Natali Abu Dayya
• Laila Nael Khalil
• Sama Safi
The arrests came during an Israeli military raid on the town of Birzeit in the occupied West Bank.
@revcommunists can you help with support? I demonstrated outside Woolwich court with my son who is a member of your party. We need everyone to know about the terrorism laws. They affect all of us.
FREE THE FILTON 25
For the first time in British history, protesters could be sentenced as terrorists.
This is the first case of terrorism laws being used to convict direct action.
📢 Mobilise
🗓 12 June
🕙 10am–5pm
📍 Woolwich Crown Court
Drop the terrorism label.

The UK government is colluding with Israel to imprison its own citizens. Four young people could soon be sentenced as “terrorists” despite no such conviction.
What is “terrorist connection” sentencing?
It’s a scandal.
Join us on June 12th to oppose this.

My daughter Zoe is one of nearly 300 *UK political prisoners* - yes that is now a thing - who spent time in UK jails for climate or anti-genocide activism.
In her case, 18 months on remand as one of the Filton 25.
Read this important, chilling, new report 👇
Umer Khalid has been in prison on remand for 8 months, accused of throwing paint on some RAF planes in order to stop UK military participation in genocide
He suffers from muscular dystrophy and is being forced to crawl around prison
He should be granted immediate medical bail
I am glad @thebarcouncil are making a clear public stand against the outrageous attempt to prosecute my colleague, Raj Menon KC, for reminding jurors of the text of this plaque on the wall of the Old Bailey.
The judge in this ancient case locked the jurors away for contempt of court for failing to return a guilty verdict.
They held out against the pressure of being "locked up without food for 2 nights" until they were freed on a writ of Habeas corpus by the Chief Justice.
The case established the right of jurors to "give their verdict according to their convictions".
This case is a line in the sand for the criminal bar.
Any judge who objects to me reading the text of this plaque to a jury can lock me up too. Because I will not be prevented from doing my duty by threats and judicial intimidation.
We are all Raj Menon now.
Jewish MP Gerald Kaufmann in Parliament in 2009.
"My Grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her town, a German soldier shot her dead."
"My Grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israel to murder Palestinian Grandmothers in Gaza."
It can now be revealed that the first six of the Filton 24 stood trial with a “terrorist connection” secretly imposed on their case.
That means their sentences could be doubled.
The jury were not informed about this before reaching their verdict finding four of them guilty.
🔴 İsrailli orkestra şefi Ilan Volkov, Londra’da İsrail’in Gazze’ye yönelik saldırısını kınadı.
▪️Bunun daha fazla sürmesine izin veremeyiz, geçen her an milyonların güvenliğini tehlikeye atıyor
▪️Artık İsrail’de sahne almayacağım.
The UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has granted two new licences for the export of military equipment to Israel, including an £8.7 ($11.85) million licence covering “components and technology for targeting equipment”, the Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) has revealed.
The licences were issued despite the British government’s September 2024 suspension of such exports over fears they would be used in Israel’s genocide in Gaza. CAAT’s analysis of UK export licensing statistics for the fourth quarter of 2025, published on 30 April, found that the UK issued export licences worth £20.5 ($27.9) million in total for transfers to Israel during the quarter.

“I welcome the opportunity of a retrial, because it means the evidence of what Israel has done to Gaza will be placed in court.’’
Majid Freeman’s speech after the judge ordered a retrial.
He thanked everyone who showed up in support, including the 70+ organisations that supported him despite the terrorism allegations.
He encouraged people to continue the movement, reminding everyone that Palestine is watching and will not be abandoned.
How horrifying this must have been for the families, including @Subversivite
Knowing that your child could be sentenced as a terrorist despite never having a terror charge, and not being able to tell press when interviewed under threat of contempt charges yourself!
Sickening.
