Genuine question. What are the reasons/ justifications to charge £400 to attend a 1 day conference? I understand delegates need to be paid, venues hired & food provided, but £400 EACH?! Why?!

@james_harris Very this. Many years ago I was LEM on a ward & each placement had to find mentors for 10 or more students, with only 3 full time MWs & 5 sign off mentors. Any more students would have been impossible 😬 More numbers I fear would mean poorer & less valuable training.

When I sign my emails off with my name, AND it’s also in my signature, I find it really offensive when people reply & spell my name wrong. Am I being over sensitive? I don’t think so.
I get that it’s not an English name, but come on, thats just rude. 😡
