I recently granted an interview to @DeutscheWelle (DW) in which I spoke openly about the situation in Cameroon, describing it as a banana republic, a comment made in the context of the shambolic election that was about to take place for the dinosaur there, @PR_Paul_BIYA.

Interestingly, that part of the interview was not aired by DW.

As always, I stand by what I said. When a nation consistently subverts democratic processes, crushes dissent, and manipulates elections, it earns that description.
