-OPEC Fund Member Country national
-Be 30 years of age or younger at the time of application
-Have obtained at least a Master’s degree from a reputable university
-Excellent Academic performance 
-Be fluent in English
-Proficiency in one or more languages is desirable
-Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience
-Specialize in a field relevant to the OPEC Fund’s operations such as Engineering, -Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Law, Human Resources, and any other relevant discipline
-Ability to work in a global and culturally diverse institution
-An understanding of the OPEC Fund’s mandate

When you are at the bottom, your mistakes are technical. You missed a deadline or broke a link.

The power test: Now that people are afraid to tell you "No," do you still do the right thing?

The shortcut test: Now that you have the keys to the vault, do you still follow the rules?

We have all seen people blow up overnight and disappear just as fast.

Usually, it wasn't because they lost their skill, it's because their ego or their lack of integrity blew up the room.

Competence is what you can do. Character is who you are when no one (or everyone) is watching.

As you grow, people will try to buy your values.

They will offer you deals that require a small lie, or partnerships that require you to betray a friend.

The most expensive thing you will ever own is your reputation. Don't trade it for a temporary win.

Build your skills to reach the top, but build your character so you don't fall off.

But the truth is, being busy doesn’t mean you’re making progress.

1. You’re Prioritizing Urgency Over Importance

Not everything that demands your attention deserves it.

Replying to emails all day feels productive, but does it move you forward?
Attending every meeting makes you look active, but does it add value?

Successful people don’t just do more, they do what matters.

2. You’re Trying to Do Everything Yourself

If you’re always exhausted, it’s probably because you’re carrying too much.
Learn to give out tasks that don’t require your personal touch.

Focus on the things that bring the highest results. Working hard is great. Working smart is better.

3. You’re Repeating the Same Actions Without Better Results

Doing the same thing every day but not getting results? It’s time to change strategy.

Track where your time goes.
Eliminate tasks that don’t contribute to your real goals.
If something isn’t working, adjust, not everything requires more effort; sometimes, it requires a smarter approach.

4. You’re Always Available for Everyone but Yourself

Every time you say “yes” to distractions, you’re saying “no” to your own progress.

Set boundaries.
Block out focus time.
Protect your energy.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.

5. You’re Not Measuring Your Progress

How do you know if you’re improving? You measure it.

Keep track of your wins (big and small).
Check if what you’re doing is actually bringing results.
Adjust your approach based on feedback and outcomes.

Productivity isn’t about looking busy, it’s about getting things done that truly move you forward.

Hard work isn’t enough. If you’re putting in effort but not progressing, it’s time to work differently.
