@kingofsausagez@larryvc It was a dividend. It has real value. You can sell it and buy shares. Just because it’s not in the money doesn’t mean it’s not adding value.
@SaraEisen just FYI I can hear people with mice clicking in the background during your segment. Maybe tell the set to get you mice that don’t click. 🫣 you the best!
@Han_Akamatsu I really want to see RC issue more convertibles. Will raise the cash floor and this time the arb bond guys are playing with fire if they try to tank the price at current market cap.
@Tedlinknews@unusual_whales Hello from the Bay Area! We just bought our first home in 2024 so I know exactly what you mean. We got 6.5% on a 1.3mm home. Refinance on the lucky dip to 6.07% and saving $500 a month on that. Home prices have come down in our town but not enough for most. BBB screwed everything
@Tedlinknews@unusual_whales Home prices are coming down naturally. I think people expected them to come down more with higher rates but that just wasn’t how it worked out.
The Fed needs to stay independent to fiscal policy. It’s their mandate. Fiscal policy spending needs to come down. Not rates.
@Tedlinknews@unusual_whales Again, inflation target is 2%, not 3%. It’s at 2.7% down from 9%. You keep saying he is slow but again it’s 12 people voting who have much more data and experience than you do. Housing market is rough but if they take down rates, housing prices will boom again which also hurts.
@Tedlinknews@unusual_whales Yes inflation YOY remains under 3% but the inflation target is 2%. Last reading was 2.7%. I believe there won’t be any rate cuts this year.
@Tedlinknews@unusual_whales It’s 12 people that vote. Not just Powell. Also, inflation is running hot and jobs steady. We do not want lower rates. Even Trumps puppet, Bessent, said this today.
