@IrishRail is the seat reservation system not working on the 18.35 Heuston to Waterford train? It's frustrating to sit down in a seat with no reservation only to be moved when it's switched on

@IrishRail I was at Newbridge at 06.05 and I did not hear any announcement. Very frustrating for passengers.

@IrishRail Poor service. No announcement was made here in Newbridge and that train departed Newbridge before we were aware that the 6.10 was operating from Hazelhatch. So the next service is the 5.15 from Athlone.

@IrishRail it's so frustrating when reservations are displayed literally in the 5 mins before departure. This happens regularly on the Waterford trains from heuston at peak times. Apologies are useless when it keeps happening. V poor customer experience.

@IrishRail what percentage of seats on services are prebookable? I'm on the 18.35 Heuston to Waterford train and it seems most seats are prebooked. Is there any seats held back for regular commuters who hold a leap card?

@IrishRail Thanks for sharing the link. I don't always know in advance what train I'm getting, it depends on work commitments on the day. I was interested in the % of seats that are left free
