I apologize for leaving some out, but wanted to post my thanks for #Sanditon team of location scouts, set designers, camera operators, etc. #Sanditon is beautiful!! Hereās some of my favorite shots.
This is a 6-minute Republican video outlining Ken Paxtonās corruption.
This now āunlistedā YouTube video was repeatedly sent out by the NRSC. Itās devastating.
I spent two hours yesterday at Delaney Hall in Newark where 700 detainees are being held by ICE. What I saw and heard was horrific: worm-infested food, no access to medical care, no way to connect with their families.
Many of the detainees were lawful visa holders, including one 18-year-old who is missing her graduation and prom because she is being held in a cell.
This is not America. This is unacceptable, and it has to stop now.
Stephen Colbert was awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for his advocacy for free speech and speaking truth to power. A fitting honor for a champion of our democracy.
RETWEET to congratulate Colbert on this honor!
Over a million acres of pristine wilderness lakes in Minnesota.
The most visited canoe country in America.
Generations of families have paddled it, fished it, camped it.
The Senate just sold it out outright.
They called it "America First."
Then handed it to a Chilean billionaire ā so his company can ship the copper to China.
The Senate voted 50-49 to gut 20 years of Boundary Waters mining protections.
Here's the deal they made.
A Chilean billionaire's company digs the mine.
America can't smelt the copper ā we don't have the capacity.
So the ore ships to China.
China processes it.
Sells it on the world market.
Chile keeps the profits.
Minnesotans don't even get the jobs.
Minnesota keeps the pollution.
And Americans get to buy it back from China at full market price.
This same company has a documented history at their Chilean mines: pipeline spills, regulatory fines, and locals fighting back for years.
They paid a former Trump Interior Secretary $380K.
The protection died by one vote.
Here's exactly how it happened ā and who made it happen.
Who do YOU think this mine actually serves?

šļø Arizona Public Radio broke this story wide open ā and the geologist's quotes inside will stop you cold. An expert on the region's own geology says the odds of finding anything worth drilling are slim. So why is BLM doing this? Read the storyš

The Trump administration wants to drill for oil and gas next to the Grand Canyon.
Not a joke.
Not a metaphor.
78,000 acres of public land ā right next to Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument ā quietly proposed for oil and gas leasing in December.
Here's what they
didn't tell you:
Geologists already drilled in this area.
They found nothing.
An NAU geophysicist says past wells in the region never successfully produced hydrocarbons. Existing wells are mostly abandoned or exploratory.
A biologist at the Center for Biological Diversity was blunt:
"This lease sale isn't about energy production. It's about extracting money from clueless investors and wasting taxpayer resources."
The public comment period closes June 11.
If you think your public lands should be protected ā not auctioned off for a dry hole ā now is the time to say so.
What kind of country sells its national monuments to the highest bidder for oil that probably isn't even there?

The US government already has a ballroom just down the street. The Andrew Mellon Auditorium is less than a mile away from the White House is beautiful and accommodates more people than the new ballroom will and is owned by the U.S. Government.

$580,000,000 in oil futures moved 16 minutes before Trump announced a pause in Iran strikes.
Not after. Before.
The BBC just documented five separate instances of massive, suspiciously timed trades preceding Trumpās biggest market-moving announcements ā oil futures, the tariff pause, Maduroās capture, Iran ceasefire bets.
The platforms where anonymous accounts cashed in? Polymarket and Kalshi. Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarketās advisory board and is a strategic advisor to Kalshi.
Thereās even a law against this. The STOCK Act (2012) explicitly covers executive branch officials. Zero prosecutions in 14 years.
Oh, and the DOJ unit created after Watergate to prosecute exactly this kind of corruption? Trump cut it from 36 lawyers to 2 and stripped its authority to file new cases.
The National Park Service ran on a $3 billion budget and generated $56 billion in economic output in 2024. Thatās over $17 back for every $1 invested.
With a record of 332 million visitors last year, Americans clearly care about their parks and expect them to be funded.
I don't know how else to say this, so I'll just say it plainly.
We are at Code Red.
If this administration is not put in check soon, everything that makes America beautiful is at risk of irreversible damage.
He is stealing, leasing and depleting our protected lands.
He won't stop.
Protecting our National Parks, U.S. national forests, and the majestic Arctic Refuge should not be a partisan issue.
Once these lands are destroyed, they are gone forever.
Future generations will never know or experience them. The wildlife that lives off them will not survive.
One man should not hold this power over the future of all Americans.
Call your Senators and ask them to protect our public lands and national forests.
Make it clear you will not support the reelection of a representative who votes to mine, drill, or log on our protected lands.
Code Red.
ā¢The U.S. Senate may hold a floor vote TODAY which would overturn a 20-year moratorium on sulfide-ore copper mining on 225,000 acres of Superior National Forest land in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) Wilderness in northern Minnesota.Ā The Boundary Waters is the most visited Wilderness in the United States.Ā
š¶ Enjoying the Minnesotan/Canadian wilderness by canoe or other lesser watercraft is one of our nations greatest available pastimes, and one I have personally enjoyed my entire life. We must protect these public lands from the rapacious capitalists threatening to turn them into a poisoned wasteland.
ā¢This vote in Congress would open the door to copper mining at the headwaters of this entire ecosystem. This kind of mining produces toxic pollution, including acid runoff and heavy metals, that can contaminate nearby waters.
ā¢The Boundary Waters supports a major outdoor economy that sustains thousands of jobs and generates over a billion dollars a year - built on clean water and intact public lands. But this vote would clear the way for toxic mining that puts all of that at risk. It would also set a dangerous precedent, making it easier to roll back protections for public lands across the country, including wilderness areas, national monuments, and national parks.Ā
ā¢This is a defining moment. If you care about clean water, public lands, and protecting places we canāt replace, now is the time to speak up.
ā¢Protect the Boundary Waters, and vote NO on House Joint Resolution 140.Ā Letās save this treasured place for all of usāforever.Ā https://t.co/JhNAR6Za2O
An "unnamed" trader placed a $52M short on oil right before the peace agreement was announced.
This person made $174M in 3 hours time.
Gee. I can't imagine who that could have been.
Early Monday morning, seconds before Trump posted he was postponing escalation of the war in Iran, a handful of oil market bets were made to cash in on Trump's post. These were people with inside info - most likely in the White House.
You need to know this story of corruption.
šØ #BREAKINGNEWS Its appears Speaker Mike Johnson caught on hot mic that The Save Act would result in 12% to 18% voter turnout. Saying that would be huge for the Republican Party. The Save Act is a voter suppression bill. Not elections security.šØ
Senator Hagerty says 80% of Americans support voter ID ā so whatās the problem with the SAVE Act?
Hereās the problem Senator Durbin already explained on the Senate floor:
The SAVE Act doesnāt accept driverās licenses.
50% of Americans donāt have passports.
80% of Americans support voter ID.
Zero percent of Americans support accidentally disenfranchising themselves.
The people most likely to lack passports:
ā The elderly
ā The poor
ā Rural Americans
ā Young first-time voters
ā Military families who move frequently
The people most likely to have passports:
ā Wealthy Americans
No one is defending illegal voting.
The question is why a voter ID bill was written in a way that disqualifies the most common form of American ID.
Senator Hagerty doesnāt want to answer that.
Neither does anyone else who wrote it.
šØBREAKING: DHS agents are now illegally arresting U.S. citizens at airports⦠and trafficking them across state lines.
A 28-year-old U.S. citizen, Sunny Naqvi, was detained by DHS, for 43 hours, after landing at OāHare International Airport in Chicago.
She wasnāt charged with a crime, and she wasnāt accused of doing anything illegalā¦
Agents reportedly detained her over what they called a ācurious travel history.ā
Even though Sunny was born in Illinoisā¦they still disappeared her.
After being held for about 30 hours inside the airport, agents secretly moved Sunny to an ICE detention facility in Broadview, Illinois.
While this was happening, federal agents repeatedly told her family she was NOT in custody, even though her phone location showed she was inside the facility.
Then it gets worse.
According to witnesses, agents asked for Sunnyās phone number so they could ālook for her phone.ā
Minutes later, the phone was opened, her messages were read, and the device was shut off, cutting off the familyās ability to track her.
After that, agents transported the U.S. citizen across state lines, to another detention facility in Dodge County, Wisconsin.
And then she was eventually released early Saturday morning⦠in a random state, alone.
Her phone was dead, and she had no transportation.
So, a U.S. citizen detained by the federal government had to hitchhike to a hotel, just to be able to reunite with her family.
And this is what people need to understandā¦
When federal agents can detain U.S. citizens without charges⦠lie to families about their custody, search personal phones, and secretly transport people across state linesā¦
That puts every single American in danger.
Because they can do it to anyone.
