@Caleb18ToMoore2 @NFL@RomeOdunze I stand by this prediction. Feels more accurate than the rest considering he is a WR3 in a bears offense that is unproven and never been pass heavy, and they have a rookie QB. Not to mention targets that TEs and HBs are gonna get
@ErikLambert1 Rivalries can be one sided and still be entertaining.
Sound Bites like Aaron Rodgers saying he owns the bears only fuels the hatred in the rivalry and it makes the games more entertaining. Even if the Bears lose most of the time
@awfulannouncing The part that really gets me, is that he acknowledges FRINGE communities where white people are stuck in their ways but doesn't do the same for black communities out there that hate white people. It goes both ways.
He clearly doesn't understand why or how things change.
@The_Suntrip@SouthPark I love South Park but it is definitely not a show for kids
And while nothing will actually rot your brain, children are highly influential and don't always know right from wrong like adults should
For example, the ginger episode of South Park impacted childhood bullying
@CocoaFox023 This is very hypocritical. You and others online seem to only care about casting decisions when they are white people. If you acknowledge that race affects the story, why can't you acknowledge that it matters for most of Disney's period pieces and princesses too.
@N0TL0C_@CocoaFox023 The little mermaid was set in a period of time and in a place where race does play a role. A prince from Europe marrying a black women would have been ostracized during this time period and it would have become a part of the story. Ariels race does matter because of setting.
@SillyWatch12 @baleek81 @DameDeadAF@Woke_Kai Team wins reflects more on the coach and team as a whole but sure, let's just dick ride the best player on the best team every year. Seems to be NBA fans favorite past time.
Mentioning Curry is relevant because the same thing happened to him. He was overrated and on a great team
@DavidBorton68@_Postman1914@ErikLambert1 That's something we can both agree on.
I don't trust Poles but I do like Odunze and hope he has a great career. I just felt like he would have had a better career with the Jets or Falcons and someone else could have helped the Bears more right now.
Only time will tell.
@ErikLambert1@thedude4442 The way he cut loose other vets like Akiem Hicks and Eddie Jackson, I don't think Poles cares about bringing in mentors.
Our 2nd year DTs are gonna be thrown into the fire with little to no help.
@DavidBorton68@_Postman1914@ErikLambert1 Taliese Fuaga and Troy Fautanu are gonna be a pro bowl O-Lineman.
Brock Bowers is gonna be an Elite TE in the next 2-3 years
Byron Murphy ll, Dallas Turner, Laiatu Latu and Jared Verse were all projected around 9.
Best available is different from what your team needs
@dwcprodz Montez Sweat isn't Khalil Mack all of a sudden. Last year was the first year in his career that he even got over 10 sacks.
This Defensive line would have a hard time getting a safety at the 1 inch line against a good offense.
@DavidBorton68@_Postman1914@ErikLambert1 You're highlighting my point that it was one of the biggest reaches in the first round, along with Penix going at 8. The talent is there, but the need for the Bears is not. They would have been better off trading back or going with a lineman, who have better success anyway
@Mitch3_11Hex@_Postman1914@ErikLambert1 9th overall was still a bit of a reach for a 3rd string. It's almost as bad as the Falcons taking Penix right before. It has nothing to do with the players, but everything to do with poor draft strategy.
Also, Bears D is not top 10. They played the worst offenses in the league
@_Postman1914@ErikLambert1 Yeah I hadn't seen the trade back yet. They got an interesting player in the 5th.
Point still stands that spending the 9th overall pick on a WR3, regardless of how good he is, is a little much. Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr are gonna be WR1 for there teams
@ErikLambert1 Rome odunze is 2nd or 3rd best WR in the draft. Caleb Williams has to be a stud to meet expectations. A punter in the 4th is a reach even if they are amazing. Not addressing any defense until the 5th round is terrible
@alexmmoralesjr@Fordnikov1@TheRealLastTake @_MLFootball Younger? Yes. Better prospect? No. Penix won the award for best college football player and was absolutely domimant for the Huskies
@TheRealLastTake@joemac484 @_MLFootball Definitely first round talent. Most were saying he is the 2nd best QB in this draft, including Caleb Williams. Nearly all mock drafts had him going somewhere in the first round. Don't be so dense
