My name is “Ginger Cat”! I am a very independent cat & i love to see u when u visit me on my bench that is close to where i live on Dalrymple Road SE4 London
Hi All. I sadly went to sleep for the final time today. Thank you for all your love, attention, strokes, treats etc over the years. See you all on the flip side xxx
Born at 26 weeks, weighing just 1lb 9.7oz, Ian’s journey began with an emergency transfer to @ImperialNHS.
After 99 days in neonatal care, he went home - oxygen-free - just a day before his due date. A few months ago, Ian celebrated his 1st birthday!

My game of hide and seek is over. My human found me this morning at 3:30am. I am now safely home catching up on all the food I have missed out on since Thursday! A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped find me xxx
Since being on the psych ward, I’ve been subject to some pretty horrible abuse online
Well, in response… this is me, saying I’m not going anywhere! I refuse to feel ashamed for having a mental illness & will keep doing all I can to spread awareness!! 😀
@Fabiostralina Sorry for my belated reply. Many thanks for checking whether it was me but I guess it was my doppelgänger. I hope that he finds his way home very soon.
Hi all. I am very pleased to tell u that i am home safe and well having somehow founding my way to being a mile away in Nunhead where a lovely man & his daughters looked after me. THANK YOU for keeping an eye out for me. I’ll be back on my bench soon! Here is my “holiday” photo…
I haven’t been seen at my home or on MY bench on Dalrymple Rd SE4 since Fri having been “spooked” by a poorly & disheveled stray cat who started using my cat flap to escape the rain and eat my food (that poor cat is now in the safe hands of @CeliaHammond Lewisham) #EyesPeeledPlsx
@AnjuAgg96310071 Hi Anju. Many thanks. GC is seemingly still holidaying between us and a lovely couple on Braxfield road. We are collectively trying to sort it out.
I am back home safe and sound from my “holiday home” (here is my holiday photo). MANY MANY THANKS to everyone who kept an eye out for me and especially the “staff” at my “holiday home” - they are heros. Lots of love from Ginger Cat xx @CeliaHammond
@xxMarie88 Many thanks. “Ginger Cat” is older and given the number of treats he is given by various people as they pass by and say hello to him, he is a tad bigger. Much appreciated though. Dave.
Ginger Cat is missing from his home and HIS bench both on Dalrymple Road in Brockley/Crofton Park SE4. Last seen Friday evening. Please help find him. THANK YOU.
