It’s never been clearer: illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land are a significant obstacle to peace.

There can be no two-state solution if there is no viable state left to call Palestine.

That’s why the UK Government is right to take strong action and impose a ban on trade in goods from these settlements.

Macron, UK PM Burnham, and Canadian PM Carney agreed the situation is deteriorating with "unprecedented" settler violence and settlement expansion, specifically calling the E1 project "inadmissible."

The statement demands Israel immediately stop settlement expansion, hold violent settlers accountable, and investigate allegations against Israeli forces.
