Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, a man with a long experience in predicting the EU’s ‘imminent collapse’, this time claims Ukraine’s accession would be what finally triggers it, raising the question of why Russia is so adamantly opposed to an outcome it so deeply desires.
The Kremlin’s cognitive warfare is evolving. Leaked documents from Russia’s Social Design Agency reveal efforts to move beyond planting fabricated stories on social media. Now Russian influence operators are trying to create Wikipedia clones and fake think tanks to shape the information powering search engines and AI chatbots. https://t.co/R1NqMxyJjr
Kasparov: Russians interfered massively in 2016. Celebrated his arrival in the Oval Office.
When he won the second time, Putin was silent — but next day, Russian state TV aired compromising early photos of Melania at 9 PM. A message to Donnie: we may have others. 4X
Kasparov: Trump gave Putin a full year to win the war in Ukraine. Paralyzed everything America did except surveillance.
Sanctions — lifted or blocked. Everything he did was in Putin's favor. Everything. If Trump were a Russian asset, what would he be doing differently? 3/
Kasparov on Trump's 1987 Moscow trip, KGB absolutely tried to recruit him. For the KGB not to pay attention to an American billionaire with extravagant tastes arriving in Moscow?
They tried. Upon return, Trump invested $100,000 in articles calling for the end of NATO. 2/
Kasparov: Trump can criticize Xi Jinping, dismiss Kim Jong-un, push Erdogan aside.
He has never said one negative word about Putin. Never done a single thing that could hurt him. The question is not what Trump sees in Putin. The question is what Putin has on Trump. 1/
Anthropic CEO Amodei: Russia invading Ukraine, the risk of China invading Taiwan. That's the authoritarian bloc we defend against.
We can't let China and Russia use AI to attack Ukraine and Taiwan while we can't defend them. Not for the money, government networks pay little.1/
It isn't just Ireland that's helping russia, it's the whole of Europe. This year I travelled across the EU to expose how the shadow fleet transports billions of euros in oil to russias war machine. All of this could have been stopped years ago.
Here's the full documentary 🚨
APPLEBAUM: What Russians do is they put out not one lie, but million lies, or not one explanation, but one after another.
It's a propaganda technique. They just flood people with massive, contradictory stories, and sooner or later, people won't pay attention to anything at all.
And there's so much information all the time that people eventually just tune out, and they say, "I don't know what's true, I don't know what's not true, I don't believe anything, I'm not going to engage in this issue, I'm not going to get angry about it, I just don't want to know anything at all."
Russia is still bombing Ukraine and Ireland is still helping them with raw materials.
It’s a scandal that’s still received almost no major international coverage.
So a huge thanks to @Telegraph for having me on to talk about the scandal at the Aughinish refinery 🫡
This is an utterly insane story: 25,000 documents reviewed by WaPo indicate that throughout Tulsi's career, her political moves were controlled by her guru, cult leader Chris Butler.
This woman was leading the world's largest intelligence apparatus.

Ecco all’opera l’asse rossobruno o giallonero. Tornare a comprare il gas russo sembra una priorità assoluta nell’agenda di Vannacci e Di Battista. Il primo è stato addetto militare a Mosca, il secondo nel 2022 ha sentito l’urgenza di fare un documentario nella «Russia profonda».
At 9AM, JD Vance claimed the Strait of Hormuz was open on Fox News.
At 10AM, Iran announced the Strait remains closed.
It could not be more clear that the Trump admin has absolutely no control over the situation right now.
For years, the Kremlin dismissed allegations surrounding Alexei Navalny’s poisoning.
Following a joint assessment by France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK that Navalny was poisoned with the lethal toxin epibatidine in 2024, the EU has now sanctioned those involved.
When an entire state system is mobilised against a political opponent, accountability doesn’t stop at one person.
To those outraged by drone strikes on Moscow, yet quick to call Ukraine’s actions “terrorism”: this is what real terrorism looks like.
That terrorism has a name: russia.
"Il suo obiettivo principale (della propaganda russa) non è far credere qualcosa di specifico: è distruggere la capacità stessa di distinguere il vero dal falso. Quando tutto sembra propaganda, quando ogni fonte sembra di parte, le persone smettono di cercare la verità e si rifugiano in ciò che già credono."
Raramente ho letto analisi così lucide

EXCL: Nigel Farage has been trying to block Bank of England cryptocurrency plan that could be costly for billionaire bankrolling his party.
Reform UK leader has said Christopher Harborne wants nothing in exchange for millions donated to party and undeclared £5m personal gift to Farage revealed by Guardian.
But Farage used private meeting at Bank to urge governor to drop plans for state-run alternative to digital currency that has made his Thailand-based benefactor one of richest people in world.

For everyone saying, “Why celebrate? Russia will just strike back harder.”
If this attack had never happened, Ukraine would still be facing missiles, drones, and bombs, just as it has been for over four years already.
And I’m sure the next strike was already being prepared regardless.
So please stop being naïve and acting as if Russia’s decision to attack Ukraine depends on what Ukrainians do.
Russia doesn’t need an excuse.
