@toobaffled In Italy the TOTAL number of deaths in 2024 has been 653.109, source ISTAT. So an "excess" of 857.000 is mathematically wrong. All the other years are wrong. Please check your sources, and keep in mind that ISS does not provide data about total deaths. The only source is ISTAT.
