On Tuesday, we spoke to Santa on the phone and he said that he would try and pop past. We thought that he was too busy but he surprised us by coming to the window today! We were so excited and he even brought us a present! We hope you all have a lovely Christmas! @BrambleBraeSch
Here are some behind the scene photographs of our Christmas preparations. We made salt dough decorations, paint drop Christmas trees, massively long paper chains and pictures of the main man, Santa! @BrambleBraeSch
We loved watching The Snowman and discussing how the music helped us understand the story so we made our own instruments. We played along to Walking in the Air and tried to stay in time. We even mimed playing some of the instruments that we learnt about yesterday. @BrambleBraeSch
Today we finished our beautiful Hearts for Homes love hearts which will be sent to our local nursing home to bring some festive cheer to the residents over Christmas. We also furthered our fine motor skills by crafting some reindeer with Mrs Jamieson. @BrambleBraeSch
Today P2 celebrated St Andrew's Day. We read stories in Scots, painted our own stained glass windows, built and tested boats and even learnt some highland dancing in costume. Happy St Andrew's Day! @BrambleBraeSch
We have been learning how to sign using BSL. We can sign mum and dad. We have also been forming letters in dried rice and furthering our fine motor skills by peeling and chopping vegetables in the house corner. @BrambleBraeSch#BritishSignLanguage#LearningThroughPlay
