The visit of Girchi leaders -@aarakviashvili and @HermanSzabo - to Germany concluded yesterday.
During the last two days, we met with members of the Alternative for Germany (@AfD ) parliamentary group in Berlin, including @MalteKaufmann , @jws_afd , @Dr_Rainer_Kraft , and @MarcBernhardAfD.
We shared our visions and discussed possible areas of cooperation between the parties, focusing on shared principles such as the need for deregulation, reducing the state's role in the economy, fighting against socialism, and opposing the imposition of senseless regulations on the economy in the name of climate rescue.
We also discussed the ongoing political processes in Germany and Georgia and addressed the problem of AfD often being labeled with various tags in local and international media due to incorrect interpretations of their positions.
This was the second visit of Girchi politicians to Germany. This time, we took a significant step towards cooperation between our parties. We hope that following the AfD's potential success to power, Girchi will gain a much stronger ally in Europe, where parties aligned with leftist ideology, unfortunately, still dominate.
One of our supporters responded to the Georgian government's tightened drug policy -
"I smoke marijuana because I don't like drinking vodka or wine. I work six days a week, and even if I didnโt, I just want to smoke, It doesnโt hurt anyone. I live like a good person should, without taking away other peopleโs freedom.
What kind of person came up with the idea to jail a person for 6 years just for smoking marijuana?
Donโt stay quiet โ speak up, or theyโll start banning other things too."

In Georgia, drug policy has been tightened, and the purchase or possession of marijuana will, in the best case, be punished with an administrative fine, and in the worst case, with imprisonment.
A person should not be punished for possessing a plantโ
Milei: "Sรญ, soy cruel? Soy cruel con los kukas, soy cruel con la casta polรญtica, soy cruel con los estatistas, soy cruel con los empleados pรบblicos que no trabajan".
Girchi's representatives @aarakviashvili and @boris_solomonia met with the IMF Resident Representative, Mr. Andrew Jewell.
They discussed the National Bank of Georgiaโs monetary policy, its institutional independence and the IMFโs position on the current issues.
There was a pleasant meeting between Girchi politicians @HermanSzabo and @aarakviashvili and our friend @PatrickAndreasB, a German politician.
Thanks for the engaging political discussion and continued friendship! ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ฌ๐ช
- @elonmusk, @RepThomasMassie, and @RandPaul understand how things really work.
These guys can do what Donald Trump doesnโt.
We align with their stance.
@RandPaul We support your work โ
Itโs not just about America โ it helps spread the ideas of freedom here in Georgia too ๐บ๐ธ๐ฌ๐ช
Wishing you continued success!
