Watched the trailer of India's first fully AI-generated movie, Chiranjeevi Hanuman. As an AI filmmaker, I'm not impressed.
India has artists working on some of Hollywood's biggest VFX projects. Talent was never the problem.
The problem is announcing release dates first, then expecting great visuals on tight budgets and impossible deadlines. AI won't fix that.
And there's another issue. AI evolves so fast that visuals which looked groundbreaking when production began can look average by release.
I respect the ambition. Someone had to go first.
But making an entire film with AI is a technical achievement. Making a good film is a different achievement.
We need to stop confusing the two.

Great AI filmmaking doesn't start with better prompts.
It starts with understanding filmmaking.
Attaching some of my initial ones
Google just launched their best model yet: Nano Banana 2.1!
(hot take: Google has failed once again)
And it's the best way to create thirst traps (not giving any ideas but just check how realistic these pictures look)
Here's my POV as an AI flim-maker
Google is way behind in the video race, but in the image race,
-GPT has a specialty: text and design, and nobody comes close.
-Seedream has a specialty: extreme surreal cinematic realism, and nobody comes close.
Google lies somewhere in the middle.
Google is not as cinematic as Seedream and not as design-ready and text-efficient as OpenAI.
Google tries to be both of them but is not on par with either.
these are my early testing reviews from the launch
i’m hosting a FREE AI filmmaking workshop this Sunday
I've worked with brands like KayBeauty, Havells, Birla, etc, taught 20,000+ people, and made thousands of dollars through generative ai (film-making)
so it’s time I give some of that back
3 hours. LIVE.
I’ll show you exactly how I go from an idea → shots → VFX → a finished ad film.
and we’ll make one from scratch together.
