It's almost as if stripping local authorities of their role in providing not-for-profit care homes and forcing families to hand over £70,000 a year to private equity firms hasn't worked out all that well
People v the establishment update.
Richard Tice tells Times Radio: "My family have known the Cottrell family for 50 years, they're a very successful aristocratic family."
Belfast knife suspect won asylum in Britain under 'fast-track' scheme introduced by Tory UK govt.
Then home secretary Suella Braverman & immigration minister Robert Jenrick – who have both since defected to Reform - oversaw the introduction of the scheme.

Nigel Farage has just visited one of the poorest areas in Wales in a private helicopter!
He hid the helicopter - probably paid for by super-rich donor living in Thailand - in the next valley, and arrived by car.
He's a con man.
On his return to England as Uruguay manager ahead of tomorrow night's International friendly, Marcelo Bielsa was asked about his time at Leeds United.

I seem to have upset the @SuellaBraverman fan club - so let me be clear.
This women sows hate, lies and division. She is wrong.
She does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.
I think @Gabriel_Pogrund is a phenomenal journalist but the omission of the year this happened - 2022 - is very important
Most people don’t read beyond the paywall
If you want to suggest a conspiracy of sorts then the fact it happened under the last Govt is VERY relevant
YOUNG PEOPLE. LISTEN UP.
Today Nigel Farage said the government should cut the minimum wage for young people
...to “raise aspiration” and “boost business"
It's £10ph FFS!
Lower your pay so you’ll dream bigger

Great Yarmouth MP Rupert Lowe has declared that British people owe a "great vote of thanks and gratitude to Elon Musk."
The register of MPs' interests reveal Lowe has been paid tens of thousands of dollars by Musk for posting on this site. You can see for yourself here:

A few people have asked about this fascinating story by our @rowenamason (which others have followed up/ expanded on) so am sharing here 👇
She revealed last week that Nigel Farage’s trip to Davos was hosted and paid for by the $10bn family trust of an Iranian-born billionaire.
The trust is not Reform’s only link to the Ghandehari family. Last year, she reported that Reform UK received £200k in donations from a small design and architecture firm that had faced a winding-up petition from HMRC.
Interior Architecture Landscape - which is run by a man called John Simpson - confirmed to her last week that the Ghandehari family are its clients.
A spokesperson said its decision to donate the money to Reform was made independently by the company’s management, and not the Ghandehari family itself. All the details 👇

After 9/11, NATO's Article 5 was invoked for the first (and only) time ever by the United States.
Troops from Denmark, the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, Spain, Poland, Norway, Romania, Turkey, New Zealand, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Finland, and many others joined the fight in Afghanistan.
More than one thousand of these soldiers paid the ultimate price.
And how does the US respond to this? By threatening to take over Greenland.
