ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳು, ರೈಲ್ವೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸೋಧ್ಯಮ ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ತುಳುನಾಡು ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ತುಳು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುವುದನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವ ಸಿಗಬೇಕು. ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆ ಉಳಿಯಬೇಕು.

ತುಳು ಕೂಡ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಈ ನೆಲದ ಭಾಷೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಭಾಷೆಮಾಡಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿಳಂಬ ನೀತಿಯೇಕೆ? ಕನ್ನಡ, ಮಲಯಾಳಂನಂತೆ ತುಳು ಕೂಡ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಲಿ. ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆಗ್ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯೊಡು ಮಾನದಿಗೆ ತಿಕ್ಕೋಡು.

ತುಳುನಾಡಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ತುಳು ಲಿಪಿ ಶಾಸನಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿವೆ. ಆದರೂ ಲಿಪಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಅಪಪ್ರಚಾರ ಏಕೆ? ಅದನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ/ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಏಕೆ?
ತುಳುನಾಡಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ತುಳು ಲಿಪಿ ಶಾಸನಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿವೆ. ಆದರೂ ಲಿಪಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಅಪಪ್ರಚಾರ ಏಕೆ? ಅದನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ/ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಏಕೆ?
