So, my husband - a car guy, with decades of experience sourcing parts - had the job of finding new tires for me. Turns out, after hours on the phone, I find out he picked an eBay scam seller and I'm temporarily out $200 while it's resolved. 🤷‍♀️If you want something done right...

@royalmusing There totally are. The hubby has used several before to buy tires for his truck and project cars. But it just didn't work out this time. He said he checked the feedback for the seller and everything.

@royalmusing Oh, there are - it's the first place I would have gone. But that's not the hubby's process. He buys online and only has the tire store install them - says it's cheaper. I no longer trust him about this, obviously. 😉

Young adult biographies in the library! I remember these Marguerite Vance books vividly. I wish I could remember the authors of the books I read on Elizabeth I and Marie Antoinette...I could draw the covers from memory because I checked them out so many times.

For my 30th b-day, I bought tickets to a Meat Loaf show. I adored "I'd Do Anything For Love," but later used his music as writing inspiration - the dramatic highs and lows, the emotion, the storytelling. I wanted to write the way Meat Loaf sang. Thank you for the inspiration.😢
