[The Collab Lab @_collab_lab]

Applications are OPEN! 🥳 Reminders:

• North America only in Q1 (we’ll be back in Europe/Africa & hopefully Latin America in Q2!) 🌎

• There’s no advantage to getting your application in early. Take your time and submit thoughtful answers to the 2 long form questions 🧠

@mari_meir I use dropbox for syncing - it's been working ok.

Question🙋‍♀️:
What do you use for managing UI feedback when launching a new feature?

Scenario: I have my feature on staging & I ask my team to test it. The feedback is a mixture of text and screenshots and sometimes video.

@troubalex But what is the tool Alex?! 😆
Sometimes I get like 20 things that need fixing, and I wouldn't want to be creating 20 separate issues for that...

@alexandras_dev @linear So Linear creates the issues automatically or do you have to create the issue first and then close them via the linear command?

A temporary slack thread might be interesting 🤔

Thank you 😊

@incandenza Yep, "Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing." (from Dorian Gray)

🤓 Finally reading Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs.

It's using Lisp to explain things.

So far I've learned that:
- Lisp has the reputation of being inefficient
- every expression in Lisp has a value
- also Lisp procedures (aka functions?) are also data? 🤯

The applications for @_collab_lab are open! 🥳

What a great news that they'll have 3 teams in North America & 2 teams in Europe/Africa! 🤩

Do apply even if you're not sure! I highly recommend this program! 🥰

Feel free to shoot me any questions here. I'll be happy to answer 😄

[ffconf @ffconf]

📢 The deadline to apply for #ffconf scholarships is 15th September - we have tickets for you, we have budget for you, we want you ❤️

Too damn funny 😂😂

@mari_meir @watware @willsentance @FrontendMasters @exec_prog 1 and 3 are not free but well worth it I think and can be completed in a couple of months.

[Eva - includeJS.dev 🏳️‍🌈 @GirlsCodeMK]

@mari_meir @watware I recommend watching everything by @willsentance on @FrontendMasters - it really clarified things for me when I was trying to get a deeper understanding of JS.

I also recommend You Don't Know JS: https://t.co/OJTClFmTtG

And @exec_prog for both JS and TS practice. 😊

@FabioRosado_ @jcristharif I write down everything: stuff I learned, want to learn, I read, want to read, recommendations, ideas, everything.

I also use the spaced repetition plugin for review, and I "trim" random notes via the random note shortcut.

Lots of emojis everywhere to keep it fun 😊

[Ana Rute @ana_rute]

We have an open position to work directly with me at Igalia. I highly recommend the company, it is the best place I've worked so far:

Great mission, nice work-life balance, surrounded by awesome people, where I feel heard and valued.

The @nextjs documentation is really rather good 🤔

Well done nextjs folks! 🌈

Over the past few years, I've heard feedback that folks wish there was a learning journey available for using the Modern CSS tutorials to build up their CSS skills.

💜 Today I'm very excited to share the pre-launch of Modern CSS Challenges!
