This photo was taken during our "Urban Survival Event". In addition to working on combat handgun skills, all shooters worked on weapon retention, active-shooter disarm tactics, houseclearing ops, and vehicle ops. Here you see a vehicle ops scenario.

pt. 4 There are no "re-do's" in a gun fight. This young lady performed like a professional. Bravo!

pt.3 You must know whether your gun's ready before you enter a potentially dangerous situation...not afterwards! And yet, you wouldn't believe the number of experienced shooters we run through the shoothouse who only discover their gun's unloaded after they yank open the door.

pt. 2 It's called a "chamber check". She's pulling back on the slide of her handgun to ascertain the status of her weapon-to check the chamber to make sure it's loaded before opening the door. When you're unsure about the status of your weapon, execute a chamber check!!
