Releasing Kaguchia from police custody at night endangers his life.
Should anything happen to him following a night release, the officers involved will be held fully accountable.
To prevent any tragedy, protect the officers’ careers, and safeguard Mhesh’s life, Kaguchia should be released during daylight hours.
President Ruto stopped MPs twice from collecting signatures to impeach Gachagua, But the MPs told the President that if he can't allow them to impeach Gachagua they will impeach him. The president had no alternative but only to surrender to the MPs demands, and that is how Rigathi Gachagua found himself out of office. - Kimani Ichung'wa..
Ruto just tried the 2022 playbook again:
“There is no difference between our Constitution and the Bible… Matthew talks about affordable housing.” 🚨
Classic political gaslighting.
He used the Bible to win power in 2022. Now he’s using it to justify forced levies etc for 2027.
If the Bible is your guide, let’s read ALL of it:
- Exodus 21:16 – Condemns abductions
- Proverbs 6:16-17 – Condemns shedding innocent blood
- Proverbs 12:22 – Condemns lying lips
- Matthew 23:27 – Condemns hypocrisy
You can’t cherry-pick Matthew 25 for taxes while ignoring the rest.
The Bible is not a campaign strategy. We see the script, and we’re not falling for it twice.
Fool me once…
I hope we aren't falling for it .
Kindly remind sober Kenyans.
There was a felllow who said he would have slaughtered 5,000 GenZ if given the chance.
What was his name and relation to Duale of the HYENA verbal diarhoea epithet?
The quick arrest of Mukurweini MP John Kagucia is a good step. It should send a clear message to all politicians that Kenya is a democracy, and everyone has the right to support the leader or party they choose.
There is no place for political hate or threats in our country. Calling for the beating, harming, or punishment of William Ruto's supporters in Mt. Kenya simply because of their political choice is wrong. Leaders who promote such behavior should be held accountable, and it raises serious questions about whether they are fit to hold public office.
As a supporter of TUTAMS, I should feel safe in Murang'a without fear, just as every Kenyan should feel safe anywhere in the country regardless of their political beliefs. Democracy means respecting different opinions, not intimidating people because they think differently.
The political elites in Mt Kenya led by Hon Rigathi Gachagua and H. E Uhuru have all the right to reject and robustly campaign against the re-election of President William Ruto. But it's ill-advised of them to beat the drums of ethnic bigotry, vile hatred and cast it an zero sum ethnic game. Tribal jingoism has no place in today's Kenya and one can vociferously campaign againt Ruto without shouting loud that he is a Kalenjin...not that there is something wrong with belonging to a Kenyan tribe. Our politics, instead should be mature, civil and accomodative. This high-octane tribal politics played in Central Kenya to charge the emotions of Wanjiku and raise ethnic temperatures is both dangerous and counterproductive.

Kalonzo Musyoka stood his ground at KICC, openly challenging both Ruto and Raila and declining to join the Broad-Based Government.
He flatly refused to associate himself with an arrangement that emerged in the wake of the 2024 Gen Z protests and the loss of young lives.
That tough decision has become one of the defining moments of his political positioning.
