Padres should give Ty France a 2-year extension right now. Maybe $8M per just because. Maybe he doesn’t replicate the offense exactly but his defense plus league average offense is a 2-3 win player at a 1 win price. Better than MiL deal he got last winter and it’s home.

A country of 5.5 million people made it to the quarter final for the first time in their history, beat a 5-time World Cup champion and took England to the limit. Maybe if a couple of calls go their way they push on to semis. It didn’t happen. Still, so much to be proud of 🇳🇴!

@PoupartNFL @PoupartNFL you and I are both hockey guys and with that background we both agree it was a bit of a flop to buy the call. Maybe technically a penalty but not something you necessarily want to see called at a key moment.

@PoupartNFL To me as a new observer of soccer, but a longtime hockey guy, it was soft. Sure, by rule, a penalty but I’ve seen worse not called and thought the defender went down easy to get a call. My opinion only.

@Super70sSports I love this! I got to meet Phil Stephenson when he was with the Padres in 1990. His girlfriend worked with my stepdad and since he didn’t know anyone really in SD we got free tickets often. Signed a bunch of stuff and got me autographs of a bunch of Pads on that team.
