Enfold is on @ProductHunt today. A calm baby tracker built with my neonatologist wife: free, no ads, offline first, open source under AGPL. If it could help a tired parent you know, pass it on. Questions welcome, I am in the comments all day. https://t.co/gGg3XX4ByZ

a neonatologist and a developer, building software together from Romania with no funding or office.
that is us.
we ship slowly and honestly. open-source, no ads, public numbers.
two people who understand the problem from both sides: one who sees newborns at 3am, one who writes the code at 3am.
Part 9, a week later: the long version of why we open-sourced Enfold and what the AGPL carve-outs are, on https://t.co/TywMsvcEae https://t.co/6vd2Viuy9Y
At 3am with a newborn you don't want charts. You want someone calm to say "this is normal" or "call now".
My wife is a neonatologist. I write software. We built the app we wished we had.
Today we open-sourced it. ๐งต
Wrote up why we open-sourced a baby health app, and what the AGPL carve-outs are: no ad SDKs you can verify, cards with sources, an app store covenant for forks, and what is still unfinished. https://t.co/6vd2Viuy9Y
the reason most indie launches feel hollow is because builders spend months reading about distribution instead of shipping something real. they absorb frameworks and launch playbooks, expecting a formula to exist, then put out one product, get silence, and stop.
Shipped a website widget today. The part that took the thinking:
it runs in an iframe on other people's sites. If it loaded my analytics script, their traffic would count as mine on https://t.co/fyrMuQNlrM.
So it doesn't. That page is the one number I can't let drift.
FormKiosk is on @peerlist Launchpad this week.
Feedback on the tablet by the till: tap a face, it thanks you and resets for the next customer. Android app live, forms in English or Romanian.
First 20 workspaces to subscribe pay half for life.

@catalinmpit Yes! Even more so now with AI tbh.. and it's never been more challenging and exhilarating as it is now knowing that the coding skill is no longer the thing that sets you apart from others
