“ I suppose I have all the
time in the world now….”

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“ There’s so many Grimm. But I won’t give up. I must stay strong, for the sake of the people who depend on me. “

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“ Weiss . . .

I’m so . . .

I’m so sorry . . . “

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“ . . . Alcoholic. Please. “

She grimaced; it was hard to accept the new vice. But after all she’s witnessed, it was even harder to pass up the opportunity to calm her nerves and sorrows.

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“ Thanks. Is it alcoholic? “

She inquired, inspecting the can’s label.

[Nolan Porfirio. @Batonfighter]

And cue Nolan offering a canister with a cold drink on it.

"You might need this."

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“ For the first time ever, it feels like I could use a drink . . . “

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

Winter with black hair, her natural color.

A new religion.

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

She really should ask for @RushingHeart’s number the next time she sees him.

It might be nice to maintain contact even when she’s deployed.

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“...”

The woman appeared to be pensive, peering with a somber expression out the window next to her while in the middle of sipping Earl Grey from her favorite teacup.

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“Apologies for the absence...again.

I have been recovering from my injuries.”

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

—to another.

“...I’ve never had ramen before.”

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“I unfortunately don’t have a vast knowledge of places other than ones I’ve either been forced to go to by family or duty, mostly overly lavish establishments with snooby people.

But...”

She leaned in forward and kept her voice quiet, like a child telling their biggest secret—

[𝙎𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 『ゴルドー』 @RushingHeart]

“Looks like our schedules work out!”

He replied with his own smile - and quite a wide one at that. From just a glance, anyone could tell how excited he was.

Not to mention this was his first time asking someone out, too.

“With that settled, any place you- -

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

Would you pay?

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“Well...

If you’re not busy yourself, I’m free right now.”

She replied with - ...what’s this? A smile? And a somewhat shy one at that! Could this be the first time she’d been asked out? Considering her job, it’s not doubtful that people are too intimidated to approach her.

[𝙎𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 『ゴルドー』 @RushingHeart]

It would be a lie to say that the Harvester wasn’t nervous while waiting for a response from the elder Schnee sibling.

However, it would also be a lie if to say that his face didn’t light up like a christmas tree at her answer. Thankfully, in both cases, he - -

—composure and look for the right words to respond with, clearing her throat in the process.

“I-I... Well- ...I personally see no reason why we couldn’t.”

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

!!

She... She wasn’t prepared for that. Of all the things she could assume he’d probably want, he wanted none of them. What he seemed to want was, to put it shortly, her. It caused the eldest Schnee sibling’s cheeks to become pink in tint as she desperately tried to regain her—

[𝙎𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 『ゴルドー』 @RushingHeart]

As carefree and nonchalantly as he always spoke, he uttered what he wanted.

“Alright. Think you and me could go out sometime, then?”

And just like that, he’d asked her out.

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“Whatever it is, I’ll give it to you.”

As both a Schnee and an Atlas Specialist, she could pretty much afford any material desire he might follow up with. Her mind already began planning for possible answers.

“All you need do is tell me.”

[𝙎𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 『ゴルドー』 @RushingHeart]

“I may be called Greed, but there’s not really anything on my mind that i’d want.”

His unpocketed hand scratched the back of his head, single eye glancing around the place.

“Well, I guess one thing comes to mind.”

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

// Really hoping that everything else heals completely over time except for the cut across her nose, so Winter can have a badass battle scar that will basically be the parallel to Weiss in the White Trailer.

Scar Squad

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

// I’ve been meaning to revive this account. 😅

[𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍 @GlacialGrace]

“I...!”

She started to vocalize her thoughts but then paused with a troubled frown and a bead of sweat comically placed by her temple.

“...honestly didn’t think I’d get this far...

Er- Perhaps there’s something you’ve fancied for awhile, something you’d want as a gift?”

[𝙎𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 『ゴルドー』 @RushingHeart]

His eyes widened quickly at her sudden tone of voice. Greed certainly didn’t expect her to be this worked up about his birthday.

“A-Alright, alright! If you really want to, you’re free to do anything you want about my birthday. What kinda ideas do ya even have?”
