We are you future citizens, you gave us your word when you issued those CoPRs, does your word not have any value? Others started applying literally a year+ later are now inside just cuz they have a relative in Canada, or happened to be US residents. We deserve better

We were braced for difficulties when migrating, but we didn't expect those to start before we even arrive. Now I ask you, do you really think some immeasurable promise that at some unknown point in the future we'll be welcomed is acceptable?

Put yourself in our shoes. Kids are out of school. You sold your house and have to move in with your parents with your kids and wife. You got screwed in your job since "you're leaving anyway". Others were pressured into resigning asap. Try to explain that to your kids

This was acceptable the first 2 of months of the pandemic, not 12 months later. You continue failing to prove that you have any plan. Your words and promises have no measurable or tangible expectations whatsoever, it's as if you're trying to further dismantle our lives

Students, US residents, and virtually anyone who's not a PR is allowed in, but a PR is punished and forced to watch year upon year go down the drain. We're paying the price for @CitImmCanada lack of preparation.

Our lives are still on hold, for how long we are not told, and @marcomendicino still didn't say a thing to prove
@CitImmCanada has a plan for us. They messed it up. And they're taking all the time in the world to fix it.

@CitImmCanada has given us plenty of reason not to expect anything to be done in a timely manner. Refusing to give an exact date or plan regarding what will happen to #Free_COPR_Post_March18 means we could be looking at another endless wait to get in.

To those who took @marcomendicino words as good news, let me say this clearly: it's not news and its not good. Thanks to
@CitImmCanada antics, continuing to take applications but not allowing anyone to actually complete the process has resulted in a titatnic backlog
