The Pentagon is blocking $400 million in Ukraine aid that Congress approved in the Budget Committee, according to Republican Senator McConnell, speaking to the Washington Post.

Republican majorities in both Armed Services Committees approved $400 million for the Ukraine security initiative for the next two years. The Budget Committee approved the funds for fiscal year 2026 by an overwhelming majority. But the Pentagon never released the money.

The funds are being blocked by Deputy Secretary of Defense Elbridge Colby.

But Trump is likely aware of the blockade.
