Obviously he has put in a lot of work... no one becomes a #1 pick by accident... but now he is competing against hundreds of players who have similar talent but potentially much stronger work ethics.

In my opinion, the Timberwolves made a mistake on this one.

What's the #1 trait you look for in a basketball player?

For me, if I was a recruiter for the best basketball league in the world (NBA), finding players who "LOVE THE GAME" is at the top of my wish list.

Giving millions of dollars to an ultra talented player who "doesn't really like basketball" (and then sticking them in Minnesota) doesn't sound too wise.

With all that said...
