My first IOS app went live today! It's called Kratom Cut and it helps you taper off the green stuff.
TLDR: handing out promo-codes this entire weekend to get some real world feedback (I spent a LONG time developing this and testers have been getting a lot of benefit)
BUT if you want the quick back story -
Around covid, as people started self-medicating, I chose Kratom. It kept me productive. Kept stress down. But after a while it stopped working, at which point I said to myself "this is stupid, let me just quit then"
Boy oh boy did I learn about Kratom withdrawals the hard way. They are about as significant as heroin withdrawals. Yes really. And now there's a low-key epidemic of it due to the increased popularity/ living stress of being a human in 2026.
Tapering or quitting cold turkey are really the only two paths to go and there weren't any tools available that ACTUALLY helped, or felt like they were made by people who had first hand experience. Kratom is a nuanced drug and a simple timer or linear taper app isn't doesn't cut it.
And so I made Kratom Cut - a true labor of love, and something I truly believe can help people who are trying to kick Kratom.
Anyway, hit me up for codes. It's a paid app with a 2 week free trial, but I'm happy to share free access for early users.
Anthropic: “Fable is an agentic coding superweapon, capable of developing cyber- and bio-weapons at unprecedented speed and scale. We cannot in good faith release it without guardrails.”
China: “lmao here’s Fable but open-source. Good fkn luck”
@yongfook Yeah and seeing the input typed in realtime tends to throw one off. You want to monitor to make sure it’s transcribing correctly, but that trips you up even more. Truly retarded system
This is going to sell like mad, and I'm very tempted to pick one up myself.
The only reason I'm holding off is because the rate of change in agentic development is so crazy that I'm not sure how we'll be interacting with agents in a few months.
But also, at $230, it's not like you can't have a nice toy now as well.
Overall, this is an absolute banger of a well designed product. Bravo @OpenAI & @work_louder

There is a strange qualia to interacting with “mythos level” models.
It’s almost as if Fable has an intuitive understanding of what you’re attempting to ask, and doesn’t waste time in generating the correct answer on the first go. It imposes immediate trust which targets the very bullshit detector we turn on when reviewing model output.
That detector is gradually loosened, then can dissipate entirely.
At a certain point, it’s like driving with autopilot.
The next few months of releases from the frontier labs are going to be wild. It’s 100% a step change in how we will code, think, and more generally problem solve.
The only way to get ahead now is to learn how to ask better questions.
@AnthropicAI Fable 5 will only be included for up to 50% of your weekly usage limits 😶
And it’s only available on plans for 6 days before being removed on July 7, then it becomes credits-only..
@venturetwins I somehow ended up there today as well, and it was remarkable to witness everyone replying to one another with clearly LLM generated responses.
I would jump off a cliff if I had to live in that uncanny space
This is insane. I almost bought one in Feb for $10k, and now they're 30k?????
Next year apple is supposedly going to come out with an M5 Ultra with up to 768gb of ram.
How much do you think that one's gonna cost, if the old stock from 2 generations ago is running 30k?
@tmuxvim Same. Given the size of the map, I’d figure the amount of play hours would also be as large, which would justify that price. I mean, RDR2 is a $150 game, in my opinion
