GPT-6.1 Terra is also coming to the API and Codex.
Use Terra to build apps and agents that interpret images, navigate software, and take action. You get fast computer use at a lower cost, ideal for high-volume workflows.
GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price.
GPT-6.1 Terra understands what’s on screen, takes action across apps, writes naturally, and is a more capable model for your whole workday with the efficiency to take on more of it.
Runway Dev is now on Codex
One plugin install gives Codex everything it needs to build Runway’s API into your app. Describe what your app should generate and let Codex build the integration autonomously. Get started at the link below.
GPT 6.1 Terra is absurdly good at 3D modeling and motion.
I asked it to build an interactive showcase that counts to 5 and explodes a mechanical hand down to every single gear, wire, and panel.
We are living in the build era.
We’ve updated voice mode in Perplexity. Work across multiple Computer sessions at once, start new tasks, and create and manage Projects in one voice session.
It runs on OpenAI’s gpt-live-1. Available now on the Mac app and web for all Pro and Max subscribers.
Big news with @Oracle! Bringing Oracle apps and data into ChatGPT, with new offerings powered by OpenAI.
US customers can now buy API, Codex & ChatGPT Work via Oracle Marketplace using eligible credits.
Also 130K ChatGPT + 95K+ Codex users now!

We're using the Decisions API to help score RShell commands used to remediate issues on hosts and clusters.
Previously we did this offline, but it's so fast and accurate enough (with a good confidence score) so we can actually do it live now
I just shared Codex Pet Badge and how I built it. You can just build things with hardware and Codex. Check it out and give it a vote!
Shout to @OpenAI and @OpenAIDevs for creating this space for Hardware enthusiast

I built a low-poly graffiti playground with Codex, using Three.js, WebGL2, and GLSL shaders.
You can switch surfaces, use stencils, customize your spray, add paint drips, and even shake the can.
But the part I had the most fun creating was the invisible paint you reveal with a UV flashlight.
Look at the magic, @OpenAI! 🔦✨
Codex isn’t just for code — tell it what you need and it’ll design the fitting part.
I asked for a StickS3 mount on a RICOH GR hot shoe, screen facing me for selfies. Got parametric CAD → STL, printed a snap-fit mount, clicked it on.
Built with @OpenAI Codex.
GPT 6.1 Terra (Ultra) is INSANELY good at 3D Blender computer use
*only used 3% of my Pro 200 plan
> Codex + fal plugin
> generate an image of the roadster
> Blender 3D model the car and animate the camera move
> GPT 2.5 CG first frame to photo real
> Seedance 2.5 ref to video 3D video to photo real video
i asked GPT-6.1 Terra to show me its computer use alongside Sol.
here’s my prompt:
“I need you to find a long but generic form on the internet and record my screen while GPT-6.1 Terra fills it out in Fast mode. Then have GPT-6.1 Sol fill out the same form in Fast mode and show both recordings side by side."
in the original run of the same form:
Terra took 53.5 seconds vs 3:21.7 for Sol.
that’s a 2:28.2 difference!
that run used accessibility controls, which computer use normally defaults to)
the recorded video uses mouse controls so you can see the cursor.
CodeRabbit is joining the OpenAI Daybreak Defense Network.
CodeRabbit Secure now runs on GPT-6.1 Sol and OpenAI's GPT Cyber models. Early users have already found and fixed broken access controls and authentication failures with it.
Deep Scan is free until Nov 8, run it on your repo and see what it turns up.

GPT-6.1 Terra Ultra in Codex is the fastest GPT model I've ever used, and that's without even enabling Fast mode! I still can't believe what I just saw, it completed this benchmark in less than 3 minutes when the same kind of task normally takes over 30 minutes. I wasn't expecting this level of speed at all, and now I'm really curious to see how far OpenAI can push its inference optimizations. If they manage to bring this kind of performance to GPT-6.2 Astra, I think they could seriously compete with Fable 5.5, especially because when two models are already incredibly capable, speed can make all the difference in real world projects.
I'm already asking Codex to make GPT-6.1 Terra High the default model for all my automations, I really want to see what happens when I start running my workflows with this kind of speed!
