The new homophobia and misogyny is transgenderism. In your analysis did you explore their ideology and queer theory. As in any democracy there is freedom of speech. Along with responsibilities There are many people who have various phobias and revulsion’s some we disagree with strongly but people are entitled to express those no matter how uncomfortable it makes us feel and then you can deal with it.
