@RealGodzly FYI, none of the card images for the new set are visible in the Pocket Trader app. Makes it super confusing for trading, especially when there is no text difference between a regular 2 Star and a Rainbow Rare
I also think it might be worthwhile to see how much value is truly on this roster, and perhaps see how much value was lost during Stearns’ tenure. With the Mets org being such cataclysmic failures, we need a truly systemic overview to diagnose the issue with this team.
@MetsdUp@GiraffeNeckMarc@James_Schiano Left this comment on the Cardinals vid, but here’s a future episode idea: put yourselves in Stearns’ shoes and do a full audit of the Mets org from top to bottom, a tier list of who stays, who gets traded/DFA’d, both players and coaches.
Since Stearns did such an abysmal job building this roster, I think an audit would help see exactly where the holes are. Then you can talk about who the Mets can realistically get to fill these holes, whether it’s via trades, free agency, or the farm system.
@larrymatovina Definitely agree Quaquavel gets a bad rap for its appearance when mechanically speaking, it’s a great Pokemon as a sweeper thanks to Moxie and Aqua Step
@GiraffeNeckMarc@sotoownsyou Solid lineup and I’m also happy with how the rotation looks. I know you said on Mets’d Up that the Mets were probably done with big moves, but do you see them signing Framber at this point? Or is that too high/too long of a deal to get him? The silence on Valdez is deafening.
@GiraffeNeckMarc Also, when can we expect an extension for Peralta? Only having him for one year right now makes me nervous that we bet the farm (pun intended) on him.
@GiraffeNeckMarc Do the Mets need to make any more moves for another bat/pitcher? If so, what would that realistically look like? Sign Framber? Trade Vientos for Duran? Something else?
The team has been so thoroughly overhauled I genuinely don't know what more we can do at this point.
@GiraffeNeckMarc Yes, it’s easy to call the Dodgers the villains here ruining baseball, but why are we so quick to excuse these players and agents that play these games during negotiations as them just “doing what’s best for them?” Why are we not call this what it really is: bad faith.
@GiraffeNeckMarc If Tucker had no interest in being a Met on principle, he had no business negotiating with them in the first place. Then someone in his orbit leaks sensitive info to the public as a signal to the Dodgers on how high to bet. And it’s the Mets who suffer the public embarrassment.
@AustinJohnPlays 50 codes for the approx. 2,157 stores in the US = 107,850 codes nationwide for the literal millions of US players. That math ain't mathin'.
Plus, no instructions were given to GameStop to verify ownership of the game(s) before handing out codes in order to counter scalpers.
@AustinJohnPlays Did my part in submitting a complaint, and got the same canned response others got. I guess that's all we can do at this point, and hope they pivot to an online distribution or something, cuz it's obvious this was poorly planned, and even more poorly executed.
@AustinJohnPlays This video came out at the EXACT right time. I ended up finding this travel case. Looks pretty much the same as the LMCPA one, but for $19.88. If the other one was a “pretty dang good case,” this one should be good too.

@AustinJohnPlays Question: I have both Scarlet and Violet on my Switch 1. Is there a way to transfer the data for one game to the Switch 2, but leave the other on the Switch 1, so that I can (as an example) effectively trade with myself for trade-based evos?
@AustinJohnPlays Well, today’s the day, and people already started lining up at 11:30AM EST (and the store itself doesn’t even open until noon).
BTW, thanks for the pro tip on bringing a chair. Coming in clutch
