We realized the importance of it, especially for students in @KNUSTGH, writing midsem next week.

QwikStudi was developed by the @GlinaxTech team, a subsidiary of the @Glinax_ brand.

Building a tech company in Ghana or Africa is incredibly difficult.

Tech is expensive, the return on investment takes time, and success is not always guaranteed.

Because of this, many investors avoid the tech space. They prefer to fund food businesses, entertainment, and anything that produces quick money, because that’s what the market seems to want.
But this mindset has a cost.

When we refuse to intentionally invest in technology, we push our brightest minds away. Many brilliant young innovators leave the continent to join big tech companies abroad.

Slowly, their dreams fade, and sometimes, their connection to their home country fades too.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the world, tech startups like @OpenAI or @JeffBezos’ new AI venture receive massive funding before they even release a product.

Investors see the future. They understand that real innovation takes time, resources, patience, and long-term vision. They support ideas before they become solutions.

This is something we lack here.
We are trapped in a culture of instant gratification — wanting quick results, quick profits, and overnight success. But technology doesn’t grow that way. Transformative solutions require time, data, infrastructure, and long-term commitment.

At @GlinaxTech, my team and I have been building powerful tools since 2022. We have the ideas. We have the talent. We have the passion. But many of our innovations have been forced into pause mode simply because we lack resources.

We need money to pay for cloud storage.
We need stable electricity to run small servers or a mini data center.
We need basic infrastructure that allows us to compete globally.
But these are costs we cannot bear at our early stage , and many other young African tech startups face the same struggle.

If we want to see real progress…
If we want to keep our innovators here…
If we want to build technology that solves African problems…

We must be willing to invest in tech, not for quick returns, but for long-term impact.

We must be patient with our startups and trust the process of innovation.

The future belongs to those who build it.
Africa must not stand aside and watch the world move forward.
