This is Grace Nyarua, a Grade 9 pupil who was preparing to return to school this week. On Sunday evening, akiwa very optimistic that she would soon be back in school, her family reported her missing, and search efforts immediately began.

The family, together with friends and neighbours, started looking for her, hoping that she would be found safe and sound. Sadly, the search ended in heartbreak.

The following day, Monday, Grace’s lifeless body was found dumped along the Mbaruk area of Gilgil. Woiyee, just like that, she was gone. 😢
