The most unserious organisation I have seen today, I went to @NIRA_Ug in kololo today morning, to check where my ID was sent. It took like 3hrs for me to be worked on. The lady putting on glasses small in size at the desk checking for us would always be on phone, for like 20minutes, not minding the people seated.
When they worked on me, they told me that my ID is in nansana. Reaching nansana naluvule, I was told the office shifted to wakiso. Surprised how kololo head office doesn't know that there's no functional office in nansana.
I went to wakiso and I reached when they said they were closing, it was 3:30pm, they worked on me and told me that my ID is in mpala near abaita babili.

My day ended Like that without an ID, wasted money, wasted time, just because system is volongoto. No one knows what's working and the citizens are paying for the negligence of the organisation to update their system. I won't be surprised if they tell me it's not in mpala when I go there.

I don’t know Queen Mother Best Kemigisa personally. I’m not from Toro either. But I think I now understand why watching her grief has affected me this deeply.

In 2020, she graced the official launch of @HolicPads as my guest of honor. And honestly, I couldn’t believe that she would actually come. Me, a girl who jokingly calls herself a queen , inviting a real Queen Mother and she showed up.

That meant so much to me. It showed me something about the kind of human being she is beyond the title. I have carried that respect for her ever since.

Maybe that’s why this hurts me. Maybe it’s because I’m a mother too. Maybe it’s both.

I’ve cried seeing her break down because, before the Queen Mother, before the kingdom, before the titles and positions, I see a mother who has lost her child. A woman who has lost her husband. A mother who has lost her princess. And now she has to grieve while the whole world watches.

And somehow, even in that pain, people are still debating her worth, her position, what she deserves and what she doesn’t deserve.

I don’t know the politics of Toro. I don’t know what her position should be. And honestly, I don’t want to speak on things I don’t understand.

I just know what I see: a woman hurting.

And I wish we could sometimes see the human being before the title.

Today, I see the mother before the Queen.

May God hold Queen Mother Kemigisa gently through this season. May He give her strength, peace and protection🙏🏾

Some pain doesn’t need opinions.

Yesterday, NBS TV never went off or paused even for a minute, despite losing 2 important employees in a fatal car accident on the same day(R.I.P🙏).

No disrespect, but Let this serve as a clear reminder to us all that the relationship between an Employee and Employer is salary.

Also to employees that seem to be ‘deputy Jesuses’ and to managers that work so hard to make your subordinates sad…. Know that positions are made by the company for a smooth running of business, not to feed your ego. In the business perspective, You’re actually not special.
