Renewable electricity provides the greatest benefit in the grid, not used to produce hydrogen. The alternative which delivers greater overall emissions abatement is to produce clean #hydrogen from gas or coal with #CCS and use renewable electricity in the grid. #dothemath

At the G20 Energy Sustainability Workshop in Riyadh, the United States delegation announced that it expects 13 new CCUS facilities to advance in the next couple of years. An excellent example of incentivising investment in CCS.
